We stayed here for a 3 night city break. The hotel is in a great location and close to various, shops, bars and restaurants. We found it easily enough to walk to where we needed to get to, we also made use of the e-scooters parked opposite the hotel. The room was quite small but we didn’t find this to be an issue as we packed light. It was clean and comfortable and just what we needed for our short stay in Stockholm. There was also a good buffet selection at breakfast.

“Good stay”

The location is good, the room is quite big, but there is not a table; the variety of the breakfast is not enough; the sauna is great!

I recently stayed at Scandic Klara in Stockholm, and while there were a few positives, my experience was overall disappointing. One major issue I have with Scandic hotels in general is their approach to room cleaning. I’ve been in 3 at this point and it’s all the same. The policy of requiring guests to specifically request cleaning by a certain time for the following day is highly inconvenient. When you’re leaving early in the morning and returning late at night, this is not something you’d naturally think to arrange. Light cleaning and towel replacement should be a standard service, not an opt-in. Additionally, I was disappointed to find the toilet dirty upon check-in. While I appreciated being allowed to check in early, I had to clean it myself, which was not what I expected from a hotel at this price point. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent and offered a good variety of options. However, this alone doesn’t make up for the other shortcomings. The bed wasn’t particularly comfortable, and I’ve had much better experiences at cheaper hotels, which often provide better service and more comfortable accommodations. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be staying at a Scandic hotel again. There’s significant room for improvement in terms of guest comfort and service.
