Super comfortable and nice hotel close to the central station. My room in the 7th floor was very quiet and I could even see the sky from the skylight windows of the breakfast area, despite having my room’s windows towards it. Only small minus could be that there was no fridge, and that the shower gel provided was a bit too strongly scented in my opinion (I could not use it). In addition, there were no shelters in the shower where you could place your own shampoos etc. But these were minor things and didn’t bother me in the end very much.

Location: Perfect 10/10, in the heart of Stockholm, close to major attractions, mass transportation lines, malls, groceries, nice cafes & restaurants, etc. Check-in & out: Easy and smooth, early check-in provided; however, the front desk guy could be more friendly 9/10. Personnel: Overall, very kind and helpful 9/10 Room: Room furniture quality is good; however, some basic toiletries are missing. Total room space is smaller than expected. A/C works average and noisy. Cleaning was good. Some flooding during shower which cannot be avoided due to its design. Modern toilette and overall high hygiene standards 8/10 Common spaces: 8/10 Wi-Fi: Flawless 10/10 Security: 10/10 Breakfast: We really liked it, better than most European standards, 9/10 Overall: our experience was 8,5/10 and we may consider staying in this hotel again on our future trips.

“Great facilities Poor customer service. 4pm check-in”

Sadly, the welcome didn't reflect the quality of the rooms and breakfast offered. Upon arrival, the large and spacious hotel foyer was a pleasant surprise, but upon closer look, the carpet was threadbare in sections, probably because guests had to wait until 4pm to check-i! I asked if my room might be available (knowing it was unlikely as it was mid-morning), but I was firmly told that check-in is at 4pm, which I said was very late for a hotel. I was then informed that if I wanted an early check-in, there would be an additional fee, to which I refused and put my luggage in the storeroom and began my day. I later found out that the hotel had low occupancy, so the late check-in fee was a form of price gouging, in my opinion. This left a very bad impressionon this hotel. I was also told that if I wanted to use the sauna, I had to ask the staff before use, which I found strange. Lster on, I found out that they only turn the sauna on when someone wants to use it. This is a very strange way to operate a hotel facility, which I informed the staff of, at the front desk the following day. If a hotel offers a sauna, then it should be available for customers during certain hours of operation and not at the request of a hotel guest. As a note, there are separate saunas for men and women, accessible through the change rooms off the gym. These facilities were great. The room had a king single bed and it was very comfortable the linen was good and the room had excellent lighting, heating and cooling and was in very good condition. The water pressure in the shower was great. I could not fault the room I had, which overlooked the internal courtyard. The only issue I had was that I had to plug the kettle into a power point on the floor in my room, as there were no power points at the desk. The breakfast offering was extensive and plentiful. The breakfast staff were overly friendly and accommodating. There was everything from fresh fruit, cereals of all kinds including bircher muesli, hot food such as eggs, toast etc.., pastries, bread, cheese, meats, and more! It was abundant and delicious. The drink offerings, all sorts of coffee, tea, and juices were great.

Hotel is fine and a good value, and the included breakfast is excellent. However, a few things about the room made it less than perfect. Most importantly, it was a small room, and there were no closets or other places to unpack clothes. The only “storage” area was a freestanding rack with a few hangers on it. We ended up having to unpack some of our things into a couple cubbyholes in the desk and nightstand, and then leave our bags partially blocking the entryway. We had stayed in the Scandic Norreport in Copenhagen the preceding few nights, and the room was much smaller, but having an actual closet made a huge difference in how comfortable it was.
