“Nice place in Stockholm”

Great staff, nice facilities, good breakfast includes, and great location. Highly recommend! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice lobby/bar area with live piano music on some evenings. Good restaurant, as well. You can't go wrong with the Mornington!

Our stay at the Mornington was wonderful. While I wouldn't describe it as "luxurious", the hotel staff and management work hard to squeeze out every once of comfort and service that they can. While the rooms were small, they were well thought out to be comfortable and functional. There are many pegs to hang coats/bags from, a generous windowsill doubling as a shelf, a small bench+shelf combo, and even a helpful tray to eat in bed! The bed was very comfortable and decor was cozy/cute without being overbearing or tacky. You could tell the room was recently rennovated with every aspect of the room kept clean and aesthetically pleasing. The bed was very comfortable and our backs felt great afterwards. We slept very well owning to the excellent sound and light isolation. The breakfast is included as was incredible. There is a huge selection to chose from. I recall many kinds of breads, jams, cheese, cold cut meats, vegetables fruit. There was 4 kinds of yogurt and 3 kinds of cereal to pair with it including gluten free options. Hot breakfast also including pancakes, eggs, sausages, mushrooms, roasted tomoatoes and more. Tea, coffee, 4 kinds of fruit juice, and 3 kinds of smoothies. The only downside was that breakfast was so delicious, we were often too full to eat lunch! On top of all this, our hotel stay was a great value and very affordable. If we ever find ourselves in Stockholm again, we will without a double be staying in the Mornington Hotel again.

“Affordable hotel with great location in Stockholm”

Our family of 4 stayed for three days in early July. Mornington's location is close to "everything" in Stockholm's Östermalm. Several restaurants and attractions in walking distance, and the closest metro station is just a 2 min walk away. The rooms are on the smaller side, but with comfortable beds, and you can control the room temperature yourself. The room was clean except for a few spots on the bed skirt, that should have been replaced. No closet for clothes, but we did not miss it. The bathroom is also small but had all amenities we needed. The hotel gym surprised us, maybe one of the best hotel gyms we’ve ever seen. Coffee, juice, water and fresh fruit available in addition to the new great equipment. The kid's room had a double bed with a shared duvet. When we contacted staff to get an extra duvet, we were told, to our surprise, that they did not have any extra, because the hotel was full. We got a thin sheet as a substitute, but sad that a hotel does not have at least one extra duvet. The breakfast is super, and with great variety. The freshly squeezed orange juice is fantastic. We also loved how the breakfast seating where arranged. Our family fit into our own booth. There is a backyard terrace, but the weather did not permit us to use it. The hotel has parking house close by, but it was full. We had to hunt a bit for indoor parking, and the one we found, three blocks from the hotel, we very narrow, but well-functioning and safe. In all a pleasant stay in Mornington Hotel Stockholm.

Very well situated hotel with great staff. I had a queen penthouse room, slightly small and the coffee machine wasn’t plugged in (rectified by poking about in a cupboard) but generally I had a very good experience and would recommend this hotel
