Went to Apple with my 11-year old son because it is one of few with a pool in Göteborg. We booked a room from where we could just walk out to the pool, which is open during the warm months. It was great to bring my own mojito to the lay-down pool sofas and have a drink and then play in the pool with my son. We're vegetarian and when I asked for vegetarian food for the included dinner they could only offer pie with spinache and goats cheese. Great for me with the salad buffee, but not my son who like burgers and pizza. That they could not offer. Nice staff, but I wish you could get some food for kids and vegetarian kids. It would be easy to make this hotel a 5-star one. Ok, could hear a few people talk too loud in the corridor, but that could probably happen anywhere. The normal price is a bit pricey if you don't eat the dinner food, but if you do, and enjoy the pool a lot, the price is good compared to a vacation in Thailand or Mallorca!

This hotel is mainly visited by people travelling at work, it is a lot of craftmens living here based on the fairly low price, the dinner at the evening is included and it is priceworthy. Has lived here several times and it is a great basic hotel. The downside is that it is somewhat a lottery if you get a room where the AC is working or not and the last 4 times the TV hasn't been able to start (I'm not using it at all, it is though 2020, who uses a TV, but it has become a sport to test it) The restaurant area and the pool area is great and all the personal is really friendly. You get a lot of value for the money here and they also have free parking, but keep your expectations in the right level, it isn't a 4 or 5 star hotel in the centre of Gothenburg, it is more like my own house, and that is often what you want if you travel a lot.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel because my grandson was playing in the Gothia Cup football tournament. Initially, we were a little concerned about the location of the hotel. It's situated in a light industrial area near the motorway. But we needn't have worried! The tram stop is only a 5-10 minute walk away and both lines (1 and 5) take you into the centre of Gothenburg. From the outside the hotel looks like a low level motel but once inside it's like an oasis! The reception and bar area flows into the dining area and everywhere is stylish and comfortable. The jewel in the hotel's crown is definitely the pool area. It feels like it's been recently refurbished with lots of seating and sunbeds (including four- poster canopied sunbeds) and when the weather's fine it's the perfect place to relax. There's also a space to play boules and a hammock and swinging basket chair under the pine trees. Our twin room (300) was very comfortable with a walk-in shower. Breakfast and dinner was included in our package. Both are buffet-style with a wide choice of food and drink. The only tiny thing I would change would be to have a vegetarian option as well as a meat/fish option for dinner. All of the staff are friendly and helpful and we wouldn't hesitate to return to this lovely, relaxed hotel. It's superb value for money!

This is a family friendly hotel a little outside of Gøteborg. We came here for that reason. The good things about the hotel is the serving of breakfast and evening supper as a part of the price. Two meals in the price. It is also nice to have a pool to swim in after going to the sites and attractions across the city. That's the positive about it. The breakfast itself is very standard. The evening meal is one dish or a few assorted meats from the barbecue, which is decent. The downside as a family is the loud noises and concert around the pool. We stayed for four nights and two of them was loud until 2300. When you are trying to calm and keep a little one sleeping it's not ideal. Surely the hotel sells more booze at the poolside, but us in the bedrooms are annoyed. Not that the one man band is witty or talented either. Have heard better at Karaoke in Asia. The staff is generally very service minded and helpful when you ask. They try to help and accommodate to best efforts. That is something you appreciate as a customer there. If it wasn't for the concerts at night destroying the evenings. This hotel would have gotten a better score and more stars. Because the rest of the hotel is good for kids and double servings is wonderful for visitors of Gøteborg.
