“Beautifully positioned with wonderful views!”
This hotel is beautifully positioned. The views are wonderful, and the rooms and staff are very thoughtful and kind. This hotel is beautifully positioned. The views are wonderful, and the rooms and staff are very thoughtful and kind. If you want to be next to clubs and in the middle of shopping area it’s not for you. Here, you are right by the water in walking distance to the beach. There is a lovely walk along the coastal path to Bouzas, where there are local restaurants, cafes, a supermarket, banks etc. And if one walks the other way, you reach some small beaches and Samil. I highly recommend this hotel. I have been staying here for many years, and will continue to do so!

“An excellent hotel in a beautiful location”
We loved this hotel. It is a mixture of old and new, with absolutely beautiful gardens that lead down to the beach. The reception staff were incredibly helpful. There is also a lovely swimming pool. We loved this hotel. It is a mixture of old and new, with absolutely beautiful gardens that lead down to the beach. The reception staff were incredibly helpful. There is also a lovely swimming pool. The room was amazing and had beautiful views. We were a little disappointed with the breakfasts. They were ok but not as good as we had had elsewhere. We had an evening meal in the Galician restaurant and had a mixed experience. Our fish course arrived at the same time as the main course and was lukewarm warm. However the first course and main were excellent. The Italian restaurant had more atmosphere, better service and was more reasonably priced.

“Excellent in every way”
Perfect from the very warm welcome to the time we reluctantly had to leave. Secure parking, incredibly helpful and friendly staff, stunning sea view, comfortable bed, well appointed room and bathroom. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Highly recommended.

“Relaxing Trip ”
Beautiful mix of old and new with the castle and the restaurants. Very reasonably priced for a 5 star hotel. Nice rooms. Gym is very small - not upto standards for a spa hotel sorry. Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Was an enjoyable relaxing trip.

The old side of this hotel shows signs of being tired and in need of updating. Our room was in the old building, it was spacious, but lacks upkeep and maintenance. The old side of this hotel shows signs of being tired and in need of updating. Our room was in the old building, it was spacious, but lacks upkeep and maintenance. The terrace and its furnishings were dirty, and the diving wooden wall had peeling paint. Be careful stepping out of the bathtub, its very high!! There is nothing within walking distance, i.e. shops, dining, etc... They have a newer building where the rooms are smaller but a little more well kept. We were told by a taxi driver that he heard hotel was up for sale. This I did not confirm.
