We had two rooms for us and our teenagers. They had us beside each other as requested which was excellent. The rooftop terrace was lovely. Great views. Small pool with only a few sun loungers. It was very nice though. It’s adjacent to the rooftop bar. The restaurant on the main floor was good. My one main complaint was that the lack of AC. It was very very weak so the rooms were somewhat warm. There is a great mall and great eating choices nearby.

Evening checkin, barely info regarding breakfast, location of room, check out Bar open till midnight: ordered a drink at 23h, lights turned down after the first sip, requested to move to another area, so bartender could close up Closing happens after opening hours in my opinion BUT the gin was excellent The rest of our stay more than satisfactory, so just a rocky start 😉

“Great stay, just bit far from city centre”

Check in - was quick and easy. Room - we had booked two standard rooms as there were no rooms for family of four. All we asked was that they were were close. We were giving an interconnected room - one main door two bedrooms and bathrooms. Was great as it meant the we (2 adults 2kids) had our own space but were able to be near each other and as the main door was closed individual bedroom doors could be left open. The rooms were spacious enough and the bathroom was huge in one room but smaller in the other. Rooms were clean, towels/shampoo/body wash provided but does not have kettle or tea/coffee making facilities nor is there a iron - all can be provided not sure if there is a charge as we didn’t use. There is free WiFi and tv but very few English channels if any - not that we needed to watch tv. Breakfast - was good with a good selection of vegetarian option. Plenty of bread, pastries, cereals, Spanish omelette, salad, fruit (oranges/melon etc) and fruit juices, coffee and tea, custards and jelly, yogurts etc. Had hot bacon and scrambled eggs provided daily while fried eggs needed to be ordered alongside cappuccinos. The toaster defo needs looking into took too long to toast the bread. The staff were continually replenishing items but weekend was very busy and although there were more staff the replenishment of food was slower than the rest of the week. However all food including pastries were replenished until the end. Pool - pool is small (4x4m) and cold but indoors, but sufficient for the kids. Shame the bar was not open apparently open from July 1st. We had amazing weather so a drink on the rooftop would have been quite nice to relax. Overall we had a great stay, but the hotel, although there is a shopping centre (apparently the oldest), is not close to the city. There are ample buses that can take you around - but it’s about 20-50 mins depending on where you want to go. Also for evening meals there is not much in the local area- we did eat at Terranova (Av Maestro Rodrigo 14) which is in walking distance from hotel and was amazing.
