We had 5 groups stay in Valencia at Ilunion Aqua 4 and 3. We worked directly with Laura for our large groups and she was wonderful throughout the whole process. Her and the staff worked hard to make sure our groups had everything they needed and went above and beyond accommodating us. We can't thank them enough for everything they did throughout the summer!

“Spectacular Views”

The best thing about our room (7th floor) was the breathtaking views south from our window, dominated by the amazing Agora building and the adjoining bridge. We also had a prime view of the New Year’s Eve fireworks, which were spectacular (see photos) The room was neat and comfortable, breakfast was a generous buffet with a wide selection of foods, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The reason I couldn’t give 5 stars is due to some of the hotel’s design issues. To access the hotel from street level, you first have to take a lift up four storeys to a large terrace. If you don’t like elevators, you have to take a series of complicated escalators through the large shopping mall underneath the hotel. There didn’t appear to be a stair access, certainly not one clearly marked. To enter the hotel from the terrace, you have to negotiate one of those large automatic revolving doors consisting of two semicircular compartments. The door was highly sensitive and would stop suddenly if it was too full, if someone jumped in late or if you pushed it with your hand. Often it stopped for no particular reason. I got caught in there with 5 other people one evening, and the door didn’t move again until three if us had to carefully step back out through a narrow gap. Again, there wasn’t an alternative ‘proper door’ to access the hotel. In the bedroom, the bathroom light switch was located on the same wall as the sliding door to the bathroom, so you had to close the door fully from the outside to switch it on and off. The bedside lamp was inside a long rectangular bar attached to the bedhead (see photo) On the first evening, I grabbed the bar in order to rotate it to a better angle, and my hand was immediately scorched painfully (this was obviously my own fault, but it could happen to anyone). These are obviously minor issues, but I think they need highlighting. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hot tip: try to book a room on the 7th floor or above. It’s worth it for the views.

Stayed overnight, since I had to do some business in central Valencia. Location is great. You have to get on two elevators to get to your actual hotel room - kind of weird. I expected the parking to be at the hotel itself (since that's what they say on the website), but the parking is on the shopping mall that's right next door. Having said that, the rooms are amazing and both receptionists are really, really nice. I went with my family and my dog, and they were really nice about it, very helpful. You have direct access to the mall (there's stairs into it). Not much to say, definitely returning when I'm back in the city!
