What a charming property, authentically Spanish with the most delightful service by a lovely lady who effectively carried out all the roles in this B&B including reception and breakfast. Our room on the second floor had a surprisingly beautiful view on an adjacent terrace. The surrounding walk ways are all cobbled, narrow and in some areas speed so not for those with mobility challenges. Would highly recommend.

We stayed here for a few days as a little add on to a trip to Madrid. What a find. In the middle of the medieval town up little windy alleyways. The view from the bedroom window was breathtaking (although not all rooms have the same view). The service was discreet and polite. The decor was in keeping with the building. The room wasn’t the biggest but hardly surprising given the age of the building. My only small niggle is breakfast was a little boring. Toast, orange juice, ham, cheese and coffee. Every day. It wouldn’t cost too much to do some eggs or croissants once in a while. Other than that, perfect. If you’re wanting all the mod cons in a bland hotel room then this is not for you. If you’re after charm and quirkiness then you’ll love it. Highly recommended.

This is a charming B&B with a convenient location to the tourist sites, but it is a climb up a steep hill. Also there is no elevator so it could be a problem for someone with mobility problems. The young lady ( unfortunately I have forgotten her name) who did all the work - check in, served breakfast, cleaned rooms, was a delight. She spoke limited English but she went out of her way to make the stay enjoyable. My room was a large size and decorated very nicely. There is a shared terrace that has one of the best views of the town and cathedral. I totally enjoyed my stay here. The only slight drawback was the internet was weak and usually did not work in my room.

This hotel was so cute, full of character, and the staff was great! In a town like Toledo, it's great to stay somewhere like this where you will feel like you went back in time. The decor and the breakfast in the cellar really makes you feel part of the city and history of Toledo. Really authentic feeling. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. They serve breakfast in the cellar by candle-light and it is so cute. A great Toledo experience. Only thing is the cellar where breakfast is served is adorable and part of the experience but it does smell like mildew as would most cellars that old. I think on our stay we were the only guests so it was very nice but if there were other guests I imagine you would hear everything from the rooms as they all have windows facing into the courtyard. Also there are no elevators so if you have large luggage make sure you request a 1st floor room (but realize they will be louder because the lobby is there). The location is fine because it's close from the train station (like 6Euro taxi ride) but not too deep in that you will need to walk that far with your bags. We walked all around the city from this location so it worked well for us. It is also right near a Hop-On-Hop-Off bus stop which I recommend doing. There is a 3 minute walk on a bumpy cobblestone road with a slight hill so it is a little challenging to get your luggage there but do-able. I would recommend staying here for an authentic Toledo experience and great staff.
