Really nice hostal at a very reasonable price. Our room was a decent size with a good en-suite bathroom and a great shower. Difficult to get hot water from the wash-hand basin though. No breakfast facilities but there are plenty of cafés nearby. Location is very central and within walking distance of many of Granada's attractions. Despite being on a fairly narrow street, we found it quite noisy at night due to traffic and passing pedestrians. The reception staff were lovely and couldn't do enough to help.

I spent a week here in May while on a course. First night bed was awful but next day there was a new mattress in place. It's a great location, good value, staff are pleasant and helpful, rooms very clean . Downside is noisy at night - street is very narrow and bins are removed at night, rumbling over the cobbles at great length! I had a double room, fine for me but would be a bit cramped for two. However, you have the benefit of being in the centre and in a traditional old building.

“Clean , basic and recommended”

We stayed 2 nights at the hotel and we enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The location is really good, it’s close to Albaycin, the Cathedral and the road that gets you to Alhambra. Its is a very good deal and i do really recommend this hotel.

Clean, excellent location and pleasant décor in public areas. Although the hostal is on a small street, street-facing rooms are very noisy, especially on Sat. night. Receptionist Victoria is snippy. The staff has an attitude of “you’ll take what we give you.” I had asked for a quiet room; instead, the room faced the noisy street. If they couldn’t have accommodated my wish, they should have told me and offered a refund. Also, shortly after I made the reservation, I realized that I had accidentally booked a double room instead of a single. When I wrote asking for a single room, the answer was, basically, “too bad.” As the reservation was for high-season, they had nothing to lose by offering a no penalty refund.
