Cannot recommend the Hotel Zenit highly enough. I will definitely stay there again. My friend and I stayed here just recently, 14th to 19thJune. Fantastic hotel, so clean and fresh smelling, tastefully decorated. Our room was big, we had 2 single beds and a seating area with double sofa (fold down if needed) and a coffee table. Bathroom large with bidet, and large walk in shower. A/c works well. Cleaner came in every day. Hot and cold breakfast served, plenty choice for all (delicious bakery selection) Receptionists friendly and very helpful with information on the city etc. On top floor is the roof top pool, the photos on website don’t do it justice, whilst the pool can only hold 12 at a time, it is surrounded by sun loungers and 2 cabanas, and at side of and in front of the bar there is a huge amount of tables and cheers. (White wine cheap at only 3 euros a glass). Pool attendants very attentive and helpful. There is a also a gym on ground floor. Hotel is located in the Triana area. Great location for bars/restaurants/shops/supermarkets etc. And a 50 minute walk to the biggest Zara I have ever seen, 3 storeys, much cheaper than UK and a much bigger selection. We did Hop on Hop Off bus our 1st day which let us see where everything was, 26 euros each. Lots of lovely places to eat, all very close walk from hotel. At hotel exitl, walk left for 5 mins and you will come to Bar Tipico, tapas bar which is amazing, it is always packed. Another few more minutes along and there is Las Golondrias, a more old fashioned décor but again fabulous tapas and atmosphere. Before you go over Triana Bridge, to the left is Mercado de Triana, an indoor market, we ignored it thinking it was just a fruit and veg market, however it is much more, butchers/fishmongers, and lots of quirky eating places. We found Osteria near the back, we had tuna tartare and some other tapas with a glass of fizz, it was delicious, again a very busy place with a great atmosphere. If you just want a cheap drink, at hotel exit turn right and a few minutes along is Café Bar Palido, cheap and cheerful bar with many locals. They also do tapas, and when Euros are on they had a TV to watch it. To go back to the airport we were quoted 35 – 40 euros for a taxi, however we downloaded Uber and it only cost us 19 euros, took 30 mins to get to airport.
