We recently stayed at Casa del Poeta, a beautiful boutique hotel nestled in the old town of Sevilla. The hotel, a converted palace, boasts a lovely inner courtyard that provides a green oasis. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a drink and our bags were promptly brought to our room. We also appreciated the early check-in at 1:30 pm without any problem or extra charge. Our room was on the first floor, with a window facing the inner courtyard. During the heat of the day, the courtyard is covered with canvas, which is opened at night. The rooftop terrace has amazing views of the Old Town, including famous Giralda tower. While the room was very comfortable and well kept, the old ceilings and walls meant that sound insulation was not ideal. For a quieter stay, we would recommend requesting a room on the second floor. The staff at Casa del Poeta were incredibly friendly and attentive. The excellent breakfast, served buffet-style in the courtyard for 20.5 euros per person, was a great start to our days. The courtyard also serves as a bar during the day and in the evening. All major sightseeing attractions are within walking distance, yet the hotel is located on a quiet side street. For those traveling from the airport, the EA bus service (5 euros) is convenient, with the nearest stop at Prado San Sebastián, a 12-minute walk from the hotel. Payment can be made by credit card or Apple/Google Pay when entering the bus. There are numerous restaurants and bars nearby, making this an ideal location for exploring Sevilla. Despite some minor noise issues from the courtyard, our stay was very enjoyable, and we would recommend Casa del Poeta for its charm and excellent service.

We stayed in one of their apartments which are located 5 min away (walking). We are a family of 5 (3 little kids) and it was great to stay in an apartment with space , full kitchen , washer and drier halfway while exploring Andalucia . Breakfast is not included when you book the apartments but that worked for us, there’s a bakery just across the street and a nice coffee shop next block where I’d go every morning while husband got kids ready and got us pastries , coffee , chai latte , hot chocolate etc and we’d eat in the apartment kitchen . It was so nice and food was delicious and cheap. Also, check in is later for the apartments (5 pm) but they did get our room ready about an hour earlier . Service was excellent, location perfect for us. The one complaint I have is their curtains/block out shades do not block light properly, the apartment windows are very high and wide and the curtains are just an exact amount of fabric to cover the window (doesn’t go beyond to the sides and it’s a fight even trying to get them to cover the whole window, you try covering the side then the middle is open and vice versa). That was annoying since being from the US we had the time change and would sleep in until later , the bright light early in the morning was unpleasant and probably sthg they could easily fix).

Well appointed apartments for families, in an ideal location. Two separate bathrooms and large bedrooms were perfect for our teenage boys! “Great hotel, great location, great staff”

Gorgeous hotel in general, impeccable housekeeping/cleanliness Just be aware that the family: duplex room is noisy and the only window opens onto courtyard where breakfast etc takes place .. so close to perfect . Perhaps in a different room … stayed for 11 nights but not sure we ever met the hotel general manager ( on extended stay this usually happens ) and it would have been nice to have the occasion for our stay ( my nieces college graduation) acknowledged in some way , however small, but it was not Overall though AMAZING place to stay; when I return to Seville I will return to casa de Poeta
