The location for this hotel is excellent. It’s behind the Cathedral with lots of local restaurants and bars, and easy walking distance to all the sights we wanted to see. The hotel has a roof top pool, which they kept open as the weather was warmer than expected. We chilled for a couple of hours one afternoon. We also used the rooftop terrace on a couple of evenings, which has great views over the Cathedral, where they served great cocktails. The room was ok, decent size with 2 big single beds pushed together. The bathroom and shower was a good size and being on the 2nd floor, was not too far up the stairs when we could not be bothered waiting for the lift. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, ordering taxis for us when required. We would use the hotel again if we came back to Seville.

Hotel was booked because of its central position, and in this respect it was perfect Reception staff were always friendly and helpful. Rooftop bar: location is superb. However, a glass of Cava was ordered, but a single unit bottle of sparkling white wine (not Cava) was served. The cost was 12 euro, more than double what local bars would charge. The room: how this meets the criteria for 4*s I fail to understand. A triple room was made available to us. But instead of the expecred large double and one single, we had 2 small singles and a sofabed that could have been used if required. Being on the 3rd floor, one below the rooftop bar, there was a lot of noise late at night, and on two mornings we were woken up at 8am by workers banging on the roof area. This was obviously scheduled work, so I would have expected the hotel management to advise us of this in advance and offer apologies for any inconvenience caused. No communication was received. The room could have done with being updated, and was generally shabby. The shower was above the bath, rather than a separate walk-in modern facility. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, and other hotels had offered complementary water on arrival. There was nothing here. The test for any hotel is if we would go back there. For this hotel, I'm afraid the answer would be a resounding no.
