The CoolRooms Palacio de Villapanés was a great hotel to stay when we visited Seville. When we arrived we were given a map of Seville and shown the must see places as well as a list of restaurants & markets to visit. They even helped us book tickets for the Cathedral and dinner one evening. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The hotel has a restaurant on site that had good food and the breakfast variety was fantastic for someone with a few food-intolerances. The hotel also has a gym and spa. The gym has the basic equipment you would need but it was a little small. For anyone worrying about driving a car to this hotel: As we are road tripping throughout Andalusia, we were very worried about driving our rental car through Seville after hearing how tight the roads were and difficult it is to navigate as a tourist. However, after getting off the highway, it was surprisingly a lot easier than expected with the help of Google Maps coming from Granada. The address brings you to the courtyard where you leave your car for the hotel valet to take to the garage. We did not touch our car until the day we were leaving and drove very easily back onto the main road.

Just about the perfect stay. The hotel was formerly a small palace of a local notable family. The entrance is a charming courtyard with a fountain. The staff are so lovely and check in included a brief history of the place. The room was beyond comfortable. Generously sized with the most divine bedding. Down duvets that were like sleeping under a cloud. The bathroom included a customised ghd hair dryer and hair straightener. A small gripe was that there was very little space on the vanity surface for toiletries. Our room also had a separate area with a desk and lots of natural light- so if you had to work you could do it with plenty of space and in comfort and privacy. The roof terrace had a tiny plunge pool and sun lounges and cabanas and beautiful views over the city. The in-house bar features a spectacular marquetry floor and leads to another courtyard and a cosy sitting area. We skipped breakfast as we thought that €35 a head was steep. The were plenty of other good options nearby. The hotel was a perfect example of the joy of boutique hotels. Small, chic and luxurious, it was welcoming and inviting in a way that a larger hotel never can be.

Charming, period boutique hotel with nice facilities and perfectly located for historic centre. Stayed for 6 nights with my wife + teenage son. Retaining its original features and exquisite decor, this is just perfect for a short stay. The stunning entrance with period marble steps and delightful fountain is a real wow factor. An easy 15-20 min walk through the narrow, picturesque streets to the main historical sites is a wonderful experience, 5 min walk to the the Setas (mushrooms) yet located in a quiet and glorious location away from the tourist crowds. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops within vicincity. We had a prestige room overlooking the spectacular, open roofed atrium. Spacious, clean and comfortable with luxurious feel and well serviced. Loved the roof top terrace with fabulous panoramic views and plunge pool to cool off. Spa is nice but jacuzzi and sauna a tad disappointing. Bar is a nice place to relax and externsl couryard terrace is spacious and delightful to have breakfast or drinks. Found all the hotel staff to be courteous and helpful, although we didn’t dine at the hotel apart from breakfast on the first day which was very good. We also went on a day trip to Cordoba -again train station easy 20 min walk away.
