Warmly greeted by Jesus upon arrival...Room on ground floor was clean and good-sized. Bathroom was large and clean. Buffet breakfast as pretty good: scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, coffee, cereal and milk. fresh fruit, 3 juice choices, pasties and bread. The location was great! There were several tapas bars, restaurants, shops and an ATM within a few minutes walk. The Alcazar and Cathedral were about 10 minutes away by foot, and the river about 15 minutes. All the front desk people were very friendly, and greeted us each time we arrived back at the hotel, Nice stay for three nights!

“In the heart of Seville!”

Really good stay for a couple of nights. Very good location, wonderful service from the staff, breakfast spread very suitable, clean throughout the property. The only thing I would criticise for our room (103) is that the air conditioners didn't really work properly and could do with an upgrade. ... more

The only thing I would criticise for our room (103) is that the air conditioners didn't really work properly and could do with an upgrade. Very recommended is visiting Seville!

“An affordable hostal in a good location”

A good value hostal, about a 20 minute walk from the station. My room was spacious and clean and breakfast was satisfactory. Staff were friendly and helpful. There are many good bars and restaurants in the area. The only niggle was that the Wi-Fi was poor.

“Great Location - Not the Best Breakfast”

My fiancé and I (26 & 27 years old) stayed here June 26-30. It was very hot in Seville (47 degrees) when we had arrived. The first night, we realized our AC was not working. The room felt very soupy and moist due to the heat. The hostel was completely booked so we could not switch rooms that night, but we were able to move our belongings out the next morning and get another room at check-in time at around 2pm. In the meantime, our luggage was placed in the lobby area while we went to explore the city and the hostel let us use a stand up fan for our room to get some sort of relief from the heat. The second room was much better - the AC was very strong and even made me cold at night (not complaining at all about this - we needed strong AC as we would siesta from about 2pm-9pm daily as it was too hot to be outside). They did not have proper blankets, only a thin sheet to sleep under so I would sleep in my hoodie - you could probably ask them for one but I did not bother asking. The service from reception was really great, they always tried their hardest to help get us what we needed, including a cork screw for a bottle of wine that we had purchased from the local grocery store. Both rooms had 2 twin beds, and toiletries were provided. The room was also cleaned daily. The rooms and common areas were designed uniquely with book themes all throughout. The hostel is located in a very central area within walking distance from seeing the sights as well as restaurants and grocery stores. Only about a 20 min walk from the train station and not difficult to get to from the airport either - we took 2 busses to get there. The breakfast buffet was not the greatest - it had a musky smell in the room and the egg dish was always cold (even when we arrived at 7am when it opened). We opted to eat in the outside area instead, and stuck to eating the milk and cereal, fruit, pastries, and coffee rather than any of the cooked dishes. The Wi-Fi worked well. I would stay again for the price, but depending on how much the breakfast option costs, it might be worth it to opt out and find a nearby restaurant that is cheap and good.
