You will not regret staying here at the end of your Camino. It was an oasis of comfort and a veritable luxury hotel after the shabbier places we had stayed along the way. I have no idea how this compares to the other hotels in Santiago de Compostela, but it's hard to see what you could improve on here. The location just outside the city center is walkable from the cathedral and all the surrounding restaurants and shops. There is easy car access if you need a taxi or shuttle service. The linens were amazingly fluffy and soft, the room immaculately clean, modern, and spacious. Air conditioning worked great. These were the most comfortable beds we had all along the Camino. Excellent service at the front desk. The property does not have historical significance but that is about the only downside I can think of.

Hotel is in a good location, just outside the old city of Santiago de Compostella. Hotel is on the side of a hill. Pedestrian/car access to the city is therefore steep but there are beautiful views from the hotel's windows. Having free parking on site for hotel guests is a boon. The hotel room was quite large by city standards. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern. Our room was at the back of the hotel, overlooking the school football pitches. There was some noise from these, as children were being given football coaching, which continued until quite late at night, with floodlights on too. However, there were also beautiful views from the room's windows. You could request a quieter room at the front, overlooking the car park if you are bothered by noise but of course there would not be the great view. Breakfast consisted of a small buffet, which provided all necessities: fresh and tinned fruit, yoghurt, cereal, ham and cheese, baked goods, juice, hot drinks. There did seem to be a bit of a problem with damp in some of the hotel rooms. The corridor smelled musty, our bathroom became very wet while we were out during the day and a dehumidifier was being used in one room. However, the staff reacted quickly when we reported the problem in our bathroom. The staff were very helpful and efficient.

“Get place to stay at the end of the Camino”
Friendly staff, well proportioned rooms, well fitted out (includes air con), 10 minutes from cathedral square, plenty of bars round about. Well managed, quiet and comfortable. I would return. Breakfast basic but fine.
