“Top Notch Hotel”
This was an excellent hotel. Our room overlooked the Bay of Biscay. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom luxurious and there was a separate walk in closet. This was an excellent hotel. Our room overlooked the Bay of Biscay. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom luxurious and there was a separate walk in closet. A delightful bar downstairs that also overlooked the boardwalk and bay, though service was at times slow as they were always busy. The best part was the concierge. She helped us with drivers and spa reservations at the last minute. Oh and the location was perfect.

“Like going home.”
It’s like coming home…. We last stayed at this wonderful hotel in August of 2019 when we were on a cycling vacation. It’s like coming home…. We last stayed at this wonderful hotel in August of 2019 when we were on a cycling vacation. THIS time, we were supposed to have been in Valencia but, obviously and sadly (floods, devastating floods), we needed to redirect. When we finally arrived in beautiful San Sebastián, it was a complete relief to pull our bikes up to the front door, check in, and BOOM, right away the staff were offering space where we could safely store our somewhat cumbersome recumbent trikes. Our room was spacious and bright and clean. The staff was always supportive. Honestly I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and the people who make it hum. I hope I can visit again and again.

“An incredible view from the ocean facing rooms!”
The only thing that was a bit difficult was the size of the room, it was very small and hard to move around in. However, it looked right out into the most beautiful cove I have ever seen. The only thing that was a bit difficult was the size of the room, it was very small and hard to move around in. However, it looked right out into the most beautiful cove I have ever seen. We could sit with the glass doors open and be in our two chairs right there watching the world go by. The location was incredible, right on the boardwalk that goes all around the bay, a perfect people watching area. There were evening musicians nightly on the boardwalk which was a bonus we did not expect. We did not eat at the hotel so no comments on food, the service at the front desk was very helpful also. A fantastic place to stay, and even though larger rooms are offered, the view more than makes up for the space!

I have stayed many times at Hotel de Londres and throughout the years they have maintained the same quality in their service and have updated the rooms. Their main features have to be the location (overlooking the Beach of La Concha and a very short walk to the Old Part of Town) and the views to the Bay. Before our arrival the staff was helpful to arrange transportation to/from the airport. Our flight was diverted to Bilbao and still Edurne was on top of her game and managed to send a car immediately to pick us up. As soon as we walked out of Arrivals the driver was already there waiting for us. It was a very comfortable one hour drive. Chauffeur was very professional. Check-in process was quick and smooth. We got a nice Balcony Room on the 5th floor with a magnificent view of the Beach of La Concha.' The room was spacious, very cozy and yet elegant. The bathroom was very clean, spacious and well-lit. Regal! During our stay we had a medical episode and the staff was very helpful calling a taxi for us and telling us which hospital was the best one for our needs. A couple of times we ordered food to the room (one breakfast and one snack), the prices were VERY reasonable, unlike most of the hotels i have stayed around the world. In conclusion, i have no bad things to say about the Hotel de Londres. If anything, price is a bit high but you have to be aware you're staying in a high end property. I can't wait to go back to San Sebastian and will definitely stay there again.
