“Besalú”
My job recently took me to Besalú, and what a place to visit! It's a truly spectacular little medieval village that honestly looks like a film set from some amazing movie! “Off the beaten track”
The hotel is rather past its prime and gives the impression of being run on a shoestring. The rooms are lovely and all have balconies but everything feels rather` passe`. There is an old, disused banquet room near the pool. The pool itself was lovely to swim in but had a load of old, broken sunbeds… more
