Catalonia Ronda Viktor Hotel I'm really enjoying writing this review. This hotel could easily be a 5 star based on its employees. The Hotel is located in one of the most spectacular areas I have ever stayed at.  Location 10/10 I'm speechless. Ronda is epic for amazing pictures. The Viktor is located at edge of a cliff down the street from it's sister hotel. It is quieter , but you have a few local restaurants, mercado, and pastries close by. But wait until you see the vies, so incredible.  Make sure you get a balcony to enjoy it.  Room: 8/10  Rooms are smaller but very functional. I did bang my head on the diagnol beam , but the nice size balcony compensated for smaller room. Decor is modern. The view from the room is unbelievable. I enjoyed watching sunrise with hot cup of coffee.  Staff: 10/10  We arrived by bus early and since we were Catalonia members we received early checkin.and upgrade. The staff was very professional and always tried their best to accommodate. The staff made this hotel like a 5 star. Shout out to Luis at the front desk who in my opinion was just very professional and kind. I appreciate your thoughtfulness. It's staff like this make me consider Catalonia Hotels over Marriott and Hilton. The next time I'm in the Mayan Riveria I will consider this brand and so should you.  Ammenties: 7/10 The hotel did lack certain basic ammenties, but that's a 4 star. It did have a portable refrigerator which was great to store snacks from the near by mercado.The pool and jacuzzi looked great but I didn't use it. You do get a welcome drink. Food/Beverage 9/10 We just had drinks. The bartender was very good at making drinks with awesome service. Value for the Money: 10/10 You just can't beat this hotel or it's sister hotel location. You have to stay here if visiting Ronda. Summary I'm still raving about my stay at the Catalonia Ronda Viktor Hotel. The staff truly made it a 5-star experience. Luis at the front desk was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to ensure a smooth check-in. The room, though smaller, had a stunning view of the cliffside and a comfortable balcony. While the hotel lacked a few amenities, the location was unbeatable. The nearby mercado offered fresh produce and delicious local cuisine. The pool area was perfect for relaxing, and the friendly bartenders crafted amazing cocktails. If you're looking for a memorable stay in Ronda, the Catalonia Ronda Viktor Hotel is the place to be.

We stayed two nights at this hotel, and everything was perfect. The room was very tidy and clean, with a spectacular view of the mountains. I highly recommend booking a room with a view because it’s amazing to wake up to such scenery. The breakfast was excellent, very complete with high-quality products and some local dishes, which were great to try. The staff was very attentive and helpful. We found the hotel to be very quiet and family-friendly. It’s well-located; we walked everywhere. Just head down the street, and you’re in the center, so I definitely recommend it. Certainly one of the best hotels in Ronda (with the best view, no doubt!).

We stayed here for 5 nights using Ronda as a base to explore the various Pueblos Blancos within a few hours drive. The hotel sits on a cliff overlooking the stunning Ronda valley and distant mountains. We stayed in a Junior Suite that has a good size terrace furnished with loungers, bistro size table and chairs. This would have been perfect to admire the view if the weather were better during our stay. Nevertheless, it was a nice setup. The room size is good, good bed, sufficient storage for 2 adults, good shower and nice size separate bathtub. The bathroom is good size for two to move around. The room was a bit dark due to the heavy blackout drapery, and that it covered up 2 other view windows. But it offers a solid cocoon-like environment to nap after a busy day of adventure. The house keeping is excellent- both daily and evening turn down service. We spend quite a bit of time at the bar and outside space during late afternoon having drinks and tapas. It was a nice setting with stunning views. The staff were excellent , hardworking, expedient without being intrusive of our time hanging out in that space. This is what a resort should be. We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family should they visit this part of the World. Definitely one of the top on my list of view properties.

“Very nice hotel”

We had just one night at this lovely hotel during a small group tour. It's outside of the old town area (although we still walked back and forth), but the views from the back terrace are amazing. Our room was very nice, quiet and dark for sleeping, with wonderful soft pillows. My only suggestion… more

We had just one night at this lovely hotel during a small group tour. It's outside of the old town area (although we still walked back and forth), but the views from the back terrace are amazing. Our room was very nice, quiet and dark for sleeping, with wonderful soft pillows. My only suggestion for improvement would be better lighting for the bathroom mirror -- all the lights are behind you, making shadows when you're trying to apply makeup. We had drinks and a light lunch on arrival; as others have said, the bar and restaurant seemed understaffed. Breakfast buffet was served in a different area and was quite good.
