“Lovely hotel in Potes”
We stayed here for 2 nights as we were riding in the picos national park. The room we had was lovely, a superior double with a balcony, they gave us an extra heater as we were a bit cold after a days riding. The bar area was nice to sit and watch the world go by. We stayed here for 2 nights as we were riding in the picos national park. The room we had was lovely, a superior double with a balcony, they gave us an extra heater as we were a bit cold after a days riding. The bar area was nice to sit and watch the world go by. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choices. The only think that would have made it better would have been coffee availability from early morning. Parking was around the back and the bike was safe. We would definitely stay here again.

“Perfect hotel from which to explore Picos Mountains”
A lovely authentic country hotel on the outskirts of the town. Plenty of private parking. Comfortable lounge and bar area. Within easy walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious!

The hotel is beautifully decorated and very clean and comfy in a beautiful location. The reception staff were always friendly and welcoming and when we arrived they checked and our room was ready before the 2pm check in which was lovely. The bathroom had showergel and a hairdryer (along with towels). The beds were comfy. Our booking included breakfast which was a great selection of breads, cold meats, cheese, cereal, yoghurts, jams, toast, hot drinks, juice, cakes. The only issue we had in August was there was no air conditioning in the room (we took our fan out of our campervan into our room to help us sleep). The location was also great as only a minute walk into town but quiet where the hotel is. There is a supermarket opposite.

“Bananas don't grow in the Picos. ”
After reading these amusing reviews it makes me laugh. But it is a lovely hotel and food. Inc the bananas. We will come prepared nxt visit. We come with a group of motorcyclists. Not or english, as it's an organised rally from the Moto Pistons

Valdecoro is a well appointed, clean and comfortable place to stay in Potes, well located on the main street with parking alongside and at the rear of the hotel. Front (street) facing rooms can be a little noisy from traffic during busy time but no big deal. Ideal as a touring stopover, good breakfast available. I am using the same place again in a couple of weeks so a recommendation in itself.
