“Hilltop hotel with superb views”
Old monastry on the hilltop overlooking the town. Superb views. Lovely room and the food was very good. Has a gym, jacuzzi and an outdoor pool. Plenty spaces for parking. Nice and quiet for a good night sleep. Staff very friendly and make you very welcome.

I've stayed at a couple of other Paradores hotels and they have all been excellent and this one is no different. It used to be a monastery and the building is both impressive and interesting. “Stay”
The monastery itself is magnificent and the rooms very comfortable. The breakfast is adequate but quite expensive and for a region renowned for its bread, it is poor with only one type of bread to choose from. The coffee is very poor, on a par with some of the worst coffees in my country, the UK

“Nice rooms, dinner food not so great”
Check in and check-out was smooth. The room itself was reasonably spacious with comfortable beds. However, the minibar was not obvious- we never saw it! Breakfast was good (limited hot options, but there was a reasonable options of breads and cold cuts)but dinner was a disappointment- very ordinary… more
