“Lovely old building, great location, stylish”
Paradores are often "special" avd this was no exception. A converted convebt, with its own collection of Romnan antiguities. Very classy. Remarkably good value too.

“A most pleasant stay in the middle of historical Mérida”
We love the historical Paradores. Here in the middle of the Roman city of Mérida. Nice spacious rooms, wonderful food. Helpful staff.

“another good stay”
another unique & old building but some of the room decoration & bathroom fittings were dated, also no hot water on day we left. We can accept the dated decorations as it is an old building but the hot water should work

“Avoid”
Be very careful of booking this hotel. It is pretty and historical; but, the sound-proofing is terrible. We were next door to a family with noisy children, playing the TV loudly. You would do better to book a more modern hotel. The staff; mediocre.
