Hotel Sol Guadalmar in the South of Spain exceeded our expectations! We had an amazing time here one week in total. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The hostess helped us find the best places to visit near by, she was very nice! All of their helpfulness and warm attitude made our experience even more special. We had a breakfast option within our stay, and everything tasted delicious and is prepared with care! The staff works hard to keep everything clean and organized while you eat and enjoy the food. Some of the staff liked to have a chat with us and it was fun to connect with them and get to know them a bit more! The surrounding area is wonderfully peaceful at this time of year, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. Despite the calm atmosphere, all the interesting spots are easily accessible, whether on foot, by bus, or by taxi. This offers the ideal balance between relaxation and the opportunity to explore the local attractions. The hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained. The rooms are comfortable, they have a bath and shower all in one, and provide everything you need for a pleasant stay. The view from the terrace (frontal sea view room) is stunning, and the facilities here in Hotel SOL Guadalmar are excellent. There is an indoor pool that was open this time of the year (end of februari/beginning of March), a gym, you can book a massage and there is direct access to the beach (which is a very pleasant quite place to be, at least this time of the year). We really enjoyed it all! Also the pool table was fun to play on multiple times! In front of the Hotel (open a couple of days per week during midday) there is a restaurant and you sit right next to the sea and the rocks! It is beautiful. All in all, Hotel Sol Guadalmar offers everything you need for a carefree vacation in a peaceful yet well-connected location right in the middle of Torremolinos and Malaga. We definitely recommend this Hotel!

We had a lovely stay here last week. The hotel is spotless, the sea view room we had was beautiful. Great bath and shower. The breakfast and evening buffet were brilliant. Loads of choice. Right outside the beach which is great. The pool area was clean. The indoor pool is warm. Reception staff and waiters/ waitresses were all so kind. The bus stop is right outside the hotel which takes you to Malaga city. Two small negatives. Really random but we could heart furniture being moved about in the night, happened two separate nights… it was so loud! Esther, one the people cooking eggs/omelets in the morning was very rude. She was shouting at people and told off my 5 year old for absolutely no reason at all. Great hotel. We would come back, just won’t have omelette for breakfast ;)

“Luke warm”

We visited the hotel on a cold ,rainy day in March. I can imagine that in the summer this is a great hotel. It is on the beach . There is nothing around it except two cherigitos (beach bars) which are both very nice. We had lunch in one of them and the food was excellent. Malaga airport is a 15 eur… more

We visited the hotel on a cold ,rainy day in March. I can imagine that in the summer this is a great hotel. It is on the beach . There is nothing around it except two cherigitos (beach bars) which are both very nice. We had lunch in one of them and the food was excellent. Malaga airport is a 15 euro (approx) cab ride away. Malaga city is about the same. There is a bus which takes you to Plaza mayor (shopping center) also to Torremolinos. Unfortunately during our stay every part of the hotel was cold. Reception , the bar and the restaurant. We felt that the air conditioning was on and when I complained nothing was done about it. Guests were sitting in the bar with coats and jumpers on. The food was tepid also (apart from the grill section) probably because the air conditioning was making it cold. Would I Return ? Yes , on a nice summers day perhaps.
