First I must say that the hotel is a bit isolated if on foot. But we knew this in advance so we’re prepared. Given my comment above the taxi is very quick to arrive to drop you at the airport for around 12 euros and a simple 5 minute ride. Given my first comment I also have to say the hotel provides everything you need for a night stop. First the hotel is spotlessly clean, food in the restaurant was simple but nicely cooked with plenty of choice, plus the service was very good. We have to say a big thank you to Jose on the reception, he was so helpful to us, and I must say very organised. He also despite working very hard found time to talk to us about Spain and places to visit. Thank you Jose it was a pleasure to stay at your lovely hotel. We will return next time when back in Spain, we highly recommend the Holiday Inn express Malaga Airport.

Lets get the "elephant in the room" sorted first. You NEED to either catch a bus, cheap and reasonably convenient if you have little baggage, or get a taxi, which will cost 20 euro. Lets get the "elephant in the room" sorted first. You NEED to either catch a bus, cheap and reasonably convenient if you have little baggage, or get a taxi, which will cost 20 euro. So just factor that in. Warmly welcomed, you helped us out by storing our bicycle bags for 10 days, at a reasonable price which made our trip possible. Good sized room, with comfortable bed and despite proximity to runway and road and railway we had a good nights sleep. Evening meal was surprisingly good and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was a bit basic but adequate Happy to stay here again, taking into account the cost of a taxi if you've not driving

“Overnight stop”

Overnighter after late flight , great hotel clean , staff all great , food good at a decent price , great nights sleep in a comfy bed , my only gripe is that the car parking spaces are very tight and a struggled to get out of my car , but would def recommend and use again
