“Good place for stay in Madrid”

I stay at this hotel whenever I come to Madrid for business. It's good standard, nice service, convenient location, quiet neigbourhood.

Service at the front desk was good and kind, the food at breakfast was very good, the location is more residential and a bit far from the center if you want to walk in fact it is distant from the center. But a good hotel for groups.

“Somewhere to lay your head”

This hotel was a bit of a disappointment after coming direct from the Only You Hotel in Seville (which was excellent). It is about the same price point as the Seville hotel but without their amazing breakfast, we decided on room only due to budget. Our room wasn’t ready in arrival, fair enough, but on getting to our room there was literally no facilities that you might expect. ie a kettle, cups, coffee, tea, and milk. When you signed into their app you could see what you could request, (huge list) which ranged from the aforementioned kettle to the Do Not Disturb sign for the door! We ended up back in reception with a long list. The TV is not a smart tv, it only has CNN as the English speaking channel, no BBC News or SKY News. It’s very heavily aimed at the Corporate business market and is quite tired in appearance. The location is not too bad as 20 mins into the centre walking and located opposite the river which is lovely to walk up and down in the evening passing various green areas. The pathways are used by lots of cyclists, joggers and skateboarders plus dog walkers, so good for people watching. The bar on the bank of the river opposite and another little cafe/bar just left of the hotel, were very good for breakfast or a drink and full of locals, always a good sign. We stayed here as it was close proximity to family living ten minutes away, otherwise I don’t think we would have made this our first choice. It’s fine for somewhere to lay your head.
