I really enjoyed my stay there. Last time I visited this hotel was 6 years ago exactly. I was impressed to see it was so well maintained. The receptionist was young and very professional, I was set on the 8th floor in #808. Unfortunately i found dirt left in front of bathroom wheni entered, it couldnt be missed by the house keeping, after asking the receptionist to clean the room floor entirely which he obliged, he compensated me with a drinks voucher on the roof top bar. The room is around 18sqm max, but sufficient for 2 persons for a few days, it had a nespresso machine and capsules of the brand to go with it. This room overlooks the de Silva Street and was calm at night. AC works well and covers the corridor noise, as the door is not super noise insulated. The roof top pool is a nice to have, but you cannot really swim, it is 80 cm deep, but like 8 m long towering the city skyline. Only issue, they shut it at 7pm sharp by "legal obligation", while you would expect at least 8pm to enjoy a long after work in the water. Cocktails on the roof top bars were good and well made, and I tried the 1st floor restaurant and found it very good, albeit a tat pricier than external similar food joints. The staff was young and friendly, professional and helpful at all time. All in all, this place remains a very good venue if you want to be on Gran Via, near the Retiro and the Palace, right by a metro station. It has as well its own underground car park, which I didn't use.

This hotel had washcloths and a small outdoor, roof top pool, but no jacuzzi. We stayed 4 nights and were pleased with the accommodations. One quibble: breakfast was $36 per couple per day. They have a very pleasant rooftop terrace with bar, which earlier in the day has chase lounges. Room had one 115v outlet. Very clean, comfortable room.

“Location, Location, Location”

The hotel is situated up a side street away from the busy Gran Via, an excellent location within walking distance of theatres, shops, and the many bars/restaurants in the area. The hotel is situated up a side street away from the busy Gran Via, an excellent location within walking distance of theatres, shops, and the many bars/restaurants in the area. We had a high room which as big for a city centre hotel, with the usual 4* star facilities in and out of the room. The top floor bar had excellent views over the city and provided good level of beverages and food to start you night off with. The staff were always smiling and helpful, advising where to eat and go whilst in Madrid, they were a great credit to the IHG brand. Defiantly will return to Madrid again and stay at this hotel.

This hotel located in heart of Madrid and near by metro and lot of attractions. This time I chose a gather view room for my solo travel this time during 13-16 June, the room space is good enough and clean. However, I found out the room service list on the TV but honestly I cannot clear to see any single words, so I give up to order food via room service, so suggested that the font size should be bigger. I also do the laundry on 14 Jun morning and I expected the laundry can be return at the same day but there is no follow up when I come to the hotel at the night time and I was told that the hotel cannot contact laundry company and I follow up again on the next day on 15 Jun morning, however my laundry will only to return at the night time around 7:00pm, but I don’t have any clean clothes to wear and I need to wash by hand and use the hairdryer to dry my cloths, and that is not what I expected. But apart of this, I would say if compare to the other hotel price and location, it is ok to stay for a few days.
