This hotel is near the airport. We were only there for 7 hours as our flight was delayed from Faro and we had to be back at airport early next morning for our another flight. This hotel is near the airport. We were only there for 7 hours as our flight was delayed from Faro and we had to be back at airport early next morning for our another flight. It served our purpose, we got to sleep for a few hours. The pool looked inviting as we passed it on our way to the bedroom. The bedroom was clean. and large. The man at desk was very helpful . We each had a large case and the one negative of this hotel is all the steps to the bedroom. I counted 13 plus 7 more before we got to the lobby. As we are both in our 60's we found this quite hard plus we also had hand luggage and no one to help us carry it upstairs. We did not have time to grab breakfast.

“Quiet and comfortable”

I stayed at Best Osuna for almost a week and it was absolutely satisfying. Rooms are a bit dated but clean and spacious, beds are comfortable and generally sleep quality was excellent as the hotel is in a quiet residential area. AC works very well – it was important as the temperatures outside reached 40oC. There is a pool in the hotel, I never used it because I mostly left immediately in the morning and returned by the time the pool was closed. A few times when I returned earlier, the pool was very busy. Breakfast at the hotel was also OK, with a good selection of cheeses, cold cuts, vegetables, and fruits. The location is very good regarding the airport, they also provide a shuttle service. Connection with city center is also good – some 10 minutes on foot to the metro station (line 5, which takes you directly to central attractions. There is no coffee/tea making equipment in the rooms. A small, but somewhat annoying thing is that there are drinks in the room fridge, but no bottle opener.

This hotel is well located in a quiet safe neighbourhood very near the airport with free transfers at certain times of day and is a 12 minute walk to Metro line 5 and then 20 mins into town. There's a tapas bar and a supermarket round the corner and a load of restaurants about 10 min walk from there. The staff are very nice, rooms are big and breakfast is fine. The hotel also does lunches and dinners. The pool is a good size and generally very quiet. We booked here so that we could walk back from Metallica concerts at Civitas Metropolitano stadium which was a wise move having seen the length of the taxi queue. We stayed for a week and were very happy with everything. Only caution would be if you're going midweek during school holidays and don't like getting up early, ask for a room away from the school at the back (the idiots who run the kids' club across the road think it's funny to blast really loud music for 10 minutes at 9 a.m. every morning). I'd like to go back to Madrid when it's cooler weather as the heat hampered our ability to do lots of sightseeing (although we did a lot of nightseeing) and I'd stay at this hotel again.
