The hotel is located at Calle Atocha, so it is well located in the middle of the city. You can reach the city's main attractions by foot. The staff was friendly and the hotel had a garage spot for our car. The room was spacious and the bathroom was modern and big. However, our room was on the 4th floor which meant that we had to go to the 3rd floor, cross the entire hotel to reach the inner stairs of the building, go up to the 4th floor and enter a private apartment where there were two bedrooms and finally one of those was ours. The main downside was that we weren't given a receipt for the payment of the room and were told we had to pay our garage spot in money and were not given a receipt for that payment either. We would, however, recommend this hotel but advise those arriving by car that it is located on a one way street with few parking options which made the logistics of getting the garage key and location a bit stressful.

I stayed here a few days before Christmas with two more people and we were very happy with the experience. The receptionist was very helpful and welcoming, and the room was big and warm. The bathroom had some signs of mold, but otherwise the place was spotless. Well equipped and only about 10 minutes walking from Puerta del Sol.

“erfect in terms of a location and room amenities, but suitable for the ppl with hearing impediments”

As I planned traveling from Atocha train station, this was the perfect location. When you go out the door you can walk to the left down the street, it takes about 15 minutes to Atocha station. As I planned traveling from Atocha train station, this was the perfect location. When you go out the door you can walk to the left down the street, it takes about 15 minutes to Atocha station. It took me only 15 minutes to get to the hostel by taxi, which I booked through booking.com too. It seemed to cumbersome if I was about to take the subway, changing three subway lines seemed way too much for one night¨s stay in Madrid. Hostel is situated on the third floor of the building, which is not very clear as you enter the building. The room - amenities and cleanliness The decoration was amazing, people really thought about it, I really liked the bookshelf wallpaper, and got a bit inspired. I was surprised to see that there was a fridge in the room, so I was able to keep whatever i needed cold. There was also a safe in the room which had a key, which was a bit strange. This I did not dare use, cause probably the staff had a key to it. So I decided to lock my valuables in my anit-theft suitcase. This worked out fine. There was a table for luggage, which was very good, a chair, a desk, obviously a bed, which was comfortable enough. There was also a kettle in the room as well as some tea, and decaff coffee.. it works if you have to leave early. It was well-maintained and squeaky clean, with toiletries available. The staff The staff was friendly and answered all the questions that I had. They seem to do a good job in general. Things to improve: One of the things that was exhausting was listening to Spaniards screaming at the top of their lungs in front of my door, carrying out their important conversations there and squealing often until the dead of the night. The couple who rented the room next to me were extremely noisy, even when I banged on the wall a couple of times, they slammed back, and continued their loud conversation over the noise of the TV. I would suggest to bring all earplugs you have, and preferably bring a book or entertainment with you, cause you ain¨t gonna get any sleep here. Another thing - the garbage bin in the bathroom was difficult to access, and use as a whole, so I put my trash in a plastic bag. That was way easlier.
