“Excellent service, very clean”

Staff here go out of their way to be friendly and helpful! Clean and spacious room, very nice restaurant with great food and prices. Room was well equipped with everything needed, comfortable bed big bathroom and wardrobes. Will stay again

This conveniently located hotel offered a generally spacious room, complete with a neat and tidy bathroom. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a perfect night's sleep. Although the TV was a bit dated, it didn’t bitter my overall experience. One of the highlights was the breakfast, which was fantastic! I especially loved the churros! It was a delightful way to start my day!

The hotel was very clean, rooms are large, beds were comfortable, shower was great. They have an area of quiet rooms for light sleepers like me. Where I believe it can improve is in customer service. We arrived at the hotel close to 11pm - three hours later than expected because of a train delay. We expressed how we had not eaten since breakfast because of travel. The front desk person told us kitchen was closing soon so couldn’t order room service and we could try Uber Eats. We tried but due to closing time, they wouldn’t deliver. I believe the the front desk person in the spirit of customer service should have called the kitchen and ask for them to make us a cold sandwich with a soda - anything that didn’t require actual cooking. Going that little extra mile would have gone a long way. Also, the coffee in the room is not free. That is a basic amenity in a hotel. Uber from Madrid Antocha train station to hotel is around 20 euros. Same price from hotel to Madrid airport.

The hotel is fine. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are nice. The staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast is decent. It's easy to get an Uber or taxi to go into central Madrid. But if you're traveling here for business, forget about using the internet. It is one of the most lousy wifi connections I have ever experienced at a hotel anywhere in the world. The signal is never strong, the wifi constantly drops, several times per hour (even for the "premium" service). I had to keep tethering to my phone to get anything done. It also constantly makes you log in and register with an email address (I just make one up to appease it -- and it never remembers your previous login, so you have to keep re-entering the email address which is really annoying). Think that you're going to be able to download a movie or two for your next flight? Forget it; it's absolutely impossible. Trying to use a VPN makes things even worse. You'll be pulling your hair out. It's totally futile, like being in the dark ages. What is wrong with hotels like this, that they provide such sub-standard internet service? It's insulting to business travelers who need reliable internet on the road.
