If you're in Madrid, you gotta be in Puerta Del Sol and if it is PDS, Apartementos en Sol is bang opposite Sol. Location wise, you cannot get better than this. We stayed at the Apto De Diseno Puerta Del Sol 7, Preciados, Madrid for 3 nights. Great location and walking distance to the Royal Palace, San Miguel market etc. The elevator did not work for 2 nights out of the 3. POSITIVES: Great location, modern feel to the apartment. Quite spacious rooms. NEGATIVES: No elevator on ground floor and it is a long way up to the elevator.
