“Good location”

A good budget hotel, clean, comfortable bed, very pleasing but no frills, very basic breakfast, great location , friendly staff rooms 205 and 206 have a n interacting door great if you are travelling with family and friends otherwise you can hear every word.

Very mixed feelings with this 3 star Hotel. Bedroom very clean and a nice size with Bathroom en-suite. Room maids very efficient and tidy, towels replaced daily. The big problem and I have spoken with other guests is the shower. There is no thermostatic shower and it was impossible to regulate the temperature of the water. The hot was far too hot. I would estimate over 70°C, when you have it regulated using the taps as soon as you lift it up to engage the spray fitting it turns quickly to burning hot. It was only possible to use the bath to avoid scalding ones self. Breakfast was stated as a Continental breakfast but was below par. Sorry I couldn't give a higher rating as there was not an access for wheelchairs from the street.

We visited this hotel on a coaching holiday. Stayed for 4 nights. On arrival we were greeted by a very pleasant lady, check in was quick and easy. We were allocated room 103, on entering there was a very strong smell of mould, the walls inside the wardrobe had a very large patch of mould, also the room was very cold due to the window being open. I immediately went to reception and we were given a room exchange. Room 105, right next to the office, the room itself was clean, the bed was fine unfortunately the AC in the office next door was on permanently which meant that every so often throughout the night it would kick in and wake us. The walls between rooms are very thin which means it can be quite noisy, not the hotels fault tho. Breakfast was OK, we were a large group so were split into 2 sittings, the staff worked hard to ensure that we were served quickly so that people could have breakfast prior to going out for the day. The staff were pleasant and any requests were dealt with quickly, as a budget hotel this is value for money, very close to amenities but in a quiet street.
