“A wonderful find in the city of Jerez”

A truly delightful stay. Situated centrally and with easy access to bars and restaurants. We booked a junior suite and were delighted with our accommodation. Very clean, very beautifully decorated with some lovely art! Breakfast more than adequate! Very highly recommended.

We had a comfortable 2 night stay at the hotel. The staff was very helpful and responded to emails and questions promptly. We had a comfortable 2 night stay at the hotel. The staff was very helpful and responded to emails and questions promptly. They helped us book tickets for a bodega that we were having issues with the webpages. We did use the on-site parking. The parking was a little challenging to find, but happy to know the car was safe on-site. The room was a little noisy in the morning from the street noise (city hotels can be like that). Closing the shutters and curtains helped to keep the noise "muffled" so I still slept well. The breakfast was generous and delicious. We thought it was odd that there wasn't a shower in the room (we booked a junior sweet) - just a bath with a hand-held shower nozzle. It is a lovely hotel in a very convenient location, we walked everywhere. Visit the tourist office for a helpful map with a list of places to visit.

“Free upgrade”

Lovely stay in the heart of Jerez set on an old cobbled street. Offered a free upgrade at check in and the room was huge with what is probably the biggest bed I’ve ever slept in. Great breakfast but not self service . Parking was easy but at a price. Would recommend or visit again

This was billed as a four-star hotel, though it’s far from clear why. When we walked in to the reception area, we were greeted by a sculpture of a dog lifting its leg against a wall — I’m still not sure whether the management thought this was edgy whimsy or serious art. Other animals — a bull, an elephant — loom large in the garish decor, and nothing visually seems to relate to anything else, the total effect being a gallimaufry of unrelated images — an interior decorator’s nightmare. The room — supposedly a junior suite — had the whiff of questionable drains, and could have done with a fresh coat of paint. The floors were plasticated fake wood grain, the bed pillows hard, but everything, except coffee-making supplies, was provided: dressing gowns, teeth-cleaning kits, disposable razors. There is no English language television. The lift goes up only to the first floor, so ascent above that requires climbing a substantial number of stairs. The continental breakfast was adequate, and the person presiding over it very pleasant. In short, the total effect, despite the hotel’s title, was far from palatial, and far from what is customarily expected in a four-star hotel.
