“Visit to Pitarque "Shangri-la" valley”
La Trucha is a classic hotel, in an amazing labyrinth of a building that was at one time (17th century?) a royal paper money printing press. “Quaint & Quirky”
I booked 2 nights here because i mainly wanted a stop off on my way back from a Holiday in another part of Teruel.The previous reviews are not exactly raving about the place & i felt therefore i was taking a bit of a chance! “good in parts”
rooms are large and comfortable but this is part of a hotel group and totally impersonal. Some of our party could not get hot water...the food was bland and sparse....service was poor. An impressive building but it takes more than a building to make a hotel
