I thought I’d respond to a couple of comments one or two other guests have made by way of my review. If you don’t like small rooms, pay for a bigger one. I did, and my room came with a writing desk, 4 chairs, and a couch in addition to the bed. Bonus: a walk in shower with a door that closes all the way. Lots of room to spread out. Breakfast: slightly fewer offerings than other hotels, but eggs, bacon & veggies for hot choices, yogurt, fruit, breads, meats, cheeses and pastries, juices and coffee/tea. Good enough surely, and included in the room price. It is true the counter area with the food is smallish, hence the pick your time feature. But no one was asked for their time slot when entering and the dining area itself has lots of room. Not sure I see an issue. Bonus: less than 10 euro cab ride from the train station. If leaving by train, get to the station early. Our train had a boarding cue 30 minutes before departure - after going through screening.

“Ok but restricted space”

Very good use of the somewhat restricted space. Very clean with a fresh modern look. The bed which took up the vast majority of the room was comfortable and clean. The staff were friedly, but not obtrusive as we like. Citron laced ice water was available in the lobby, which was nice touch considering the heat wave. We probably will not use the Eurostars chain again as the rooms are so tiny

This is on par with a three star hotel in the states, not a 4 star hotel. This is on par with a three star hotel in the states, not a 4 star hotel. Pros: Location Cleanliness Cons: Small standard rooms- Standard rooms are extremely cramped , especially for travelers with luggage. My husband and I had same experience as another reviewer- we were given a very small room with two beds pushed together overlooking brick wall. We asked for another room, as we were in town for three nights and wanted to keep suitcases open with room to walk around them. We upgraded and were given a sufficient sized room. No extras - very basic. The morning breakfast is fine. You do have to make a reservation time as another traveler said, which isn’t desirable. In comparison to other hotels in Spain that we stayed at, the breakfast feels very basic. No complimentary water. No wash clothes for washing face. Rooftop not open until late evening, so hard to find common areas to hang out outside of rooms if you have a family. We are family of 5 and didn’t find any place outside the rooms to spend time together when we were not sightseeing Rooms seem inconsistently cooled (as another traveler mentions). We had two rooms and they were both different. Overall, it would be an ok stay for one night. Maybe two but I wouldn’t recommend it for families and don’t consider it 4 stars.

Hotel is nice and clean . Beautifully decorated and there’s many things to see in the area. Reception staff very friendly. However, no complimentary water bottles was a surprise for a 4 star hotel . you are asked to choose a set time when you want to have breakfast, which I wasn’t too fussed about, I’m on holiday I want to have the option what time I want breakfast . The restaurant is tiny and the breakfast buffet was very sparse .food ran out quickly but didn’t seem to be replenished quickly. Being a seasoned traveller it was very surprising to see such little option of food. The roof terrace was not made ready for guests. Cushions to the chairs were stored away in the toilet. You must go to the terrace to see the beautiful view. Shower room - strange to have an opaque door leading into the shower room. As it doesn’t give a sense of privacy. There was also a gap in the door, allowing bathroom smells to spread into the bedroom. No extractor fan, which was not ideal at all. For the Muslim traveler, lots of Islamic architecture to see. There are many Moroccan restaurants near to the hotel. Overall it’s a clean and well decorated hotel with good reception staff. With less than adequate breakfast.
