There is filter coffee but if you ask for something else, they will make happily for you. Its a 3 star so rooms are a not huge, and i did miss having a magnifying mirror in bathroom and a shelf, but i was really impressed with the quality and price. Good location closed to Poniente beach and muelle. Muchas gracias a todo el personal.

“Great location, very hard beds”
The location is perfect. The hotel is very quiet and the personal great, but the beds are extremely hard. The breakfast is a small variety, but quite good for what you pay. The hotel is small, and you have free parking area not far from the hotel.

We stayed for one night while we were walking the Camino Norte. The room is a small, standard city hotel room, which was spotlessly clean. However there was little natural daylight into the room as we were overlooking another building and the fire escape. The hotel is friendly, well situated for restaurants, shops and the bus station and suited our purpose as a simple one night stay. Breakfast was basic in a pre-packaged sort of way.

Ok this boasts 3* and that seems about right. Our "double" room was well appointed and modernised, en suite (very ensuite! See later) Lots of electrical outlets and clean. No bottled water always a thing with me but what the hey. Cupboard space and a safe. It's has a small breakfast room which gets busy so's you have to wait maybe. Breakfast is simple with cereals fruit cheese etc - the continental offering as standard but considering the price of the room €95/night pretty limited. Coffee is good. Back in the room - for two it is tight on space. Make sure you get on with your bed partner before booking. We had trouble getting to the shower (not together) but once in it does its job well - careful exiting. Towels are thin but absorbent. The bidet is handy for holding your spongebag and other body scrubbing accoutrements. As I am 6 feet plus fortunately my wife was able to fold me into the room then straightened me out come morning. The hotel is three minutes from the harbour and the tourist info place on the short pier. So a great location. In short it is a compact hotel. And of the five hotels we stayed in on our trip around Spain it was the most expensive and the smallest room – on the positive side almost everything in the room was reachable from the bed. So, check prices and sizes before you book. Not good on value - OK but pokey.

We should’ve heeded other travelers’ warnings about weekend nights and the loud partying in the street below. The soundproofing is actually not bad, though even with the windows closed the thump of the music at the bar below us and a background hum of loud chatter could still be made out well past 6am. Earplugs took care of this, but if you don’t like to sleep with earplugs, or if they don’t work well for you, be aware that you will still hear muted sounds coming from the street on a weekend night. If you are a deep sleeper, you’ll be fine. The bigger problem for us was that the AC in our room not only didn’t work (it was essentially a fan and nothing more), but it blew a faint cigarette smell into our room (and briefly a coffee smell in the morning). Granted, we have sensitive noses. This would’ve been fine if we could’ve simply shut the fan off and opened the window to cool the room down. But the raucous noise coming from the street with windows opened was too much. So we shut off the fan, kept the windows closed and were a little too warm. It was not a comfortable night for us. It’s a shame because the room was spacious, light-filled, clean and otherwise perfectly fine. The staff were all very personable and helpful, and the location favorable and giving you easy access to the main part of town. Breakfast was OK - there were a variety of choices though they were more “budget” than the average breakfast experience we had during our time in Spain. The staff will give you a discount ticket for a nearby parking garage - this was very convenient.
