We stayed here , pre cruise overnight. We were warmly welcomed by the reception staff , and given our room .we were on the top floor as we had requested . Our room was lovely and large , bright & overlooked the pool in the very pleasant gardens . Room was well equipped , 2 large beds ( the lady who checked us in , kindly changed our allocated room as it only had 1 small double bed , great service ! ) There was a fridge , a nice bright bathroom , excellent water pressure and good toiletries provided . The garden area where the pool was made a nice place to spend a few hours , enjoying a couple of ice cold beers ( very reasonably priced ) . The area is largely residential , so it’s peaceful . A short walk away and you are in the middle of a bustly Spanish town , with some great tapas bars and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, in fact preferring it to centra, Barcelona , which can be a bit of a tourist trap rip off ! Very friendly and helpful staff , a nice area to walk round , handy for the airport , cruise terminals and central Barcelona ! 5* sleep rating too !

“Recommend for a good base!”

My daughter, 17, and I stayed here as a base to visit the architecture around Barcelona city centre. It’s about 20-30mins on the R4 train route into the city centre. Which was great. My daughter, 17, and I stayed here as a base to visit the architecture around Barcelona city centre. It’s about 20-30mins on the R4 train route into the city centre. Which was great. Always felt safe. Just 15mins & €25 in taxi if you arrive after buses stop like we did (thanks Ryanair!). The travel ticket we got was great. Around €12 per person for three days. Even covered the bus back to the airport L77, the bus stop is directly outside the hotel. (Once you get to terminal one on the bus, there’s a free green bus apparently that takes you to terminal two which we didn’t know about.) Train station is right out of hotel, up a red paved hill and to the left. Supermarket is opposite and a Lidl (up huge steps and under subway) near by for a few drinks to keep in the small fridge in the room. Walk down to the square, up the paved hill and down to the right. A few nice restaurants full of locals and next to a little playground. Room had shampoo, shower shower-gel and a hairdryer. As well as spare toothpaste and shower cap! Safe was free and air con fine. A little noisy outside but nothing major. Pool was lovely and breakfast was fab! Reception staff were always lovely. We left out suitcases in their cupboard after we checked out. Google maps was a great help around beautiful Barcelona! Highly recommend Guadi’s Sagrada Familia tour and Casa Battlo internal visits, but book early and book to arrive early to beat crowds!

We stayed here for 3 nights during a recent visit to Barcelona. The hotel is a short walk from the metro on L5 (Blue Line). The station is Cornellà Centre. We took the metro from the airport and the bus back. The bus stop is outside the hotel. On arrival at the hotel we were greeted by a really helpful receptionist who gave us a few tips about the place and the local neighbourhood. We were too early to check in but were able to leave our bags. The hotel is a short walk from the local restaurants and bars and a little further on is a big shopping centre with many restaurants aswell. This is located next to the RCD Espanyol de Barcelona stadium. To get into the centre of Barcelona on the metro is about 25 mins which we didn’t mind for a short trip. There are buses and trams nearby too but we did not use them during our trip. We liked being just outside Barcelona as it was very busy whilst there and the quiet neighbourhood of the hotel was a nice change at the end of a busy day. We did not use the restaurant or pool at the hotel so cannot comment on these. Now just a couple of things to note that we found about the hotel. The room was spacious and suited our needs but could do with a bit of TLC. Our son’s bed was a bit worn with broken wood on the headboard which was fine for him but a younger child may of messed around with it and hurt themselves. Bathroom could do with a spruce up as shower screen rusty as well as bath around the plug hole. Plenty of toiletries provided. People have previously mentioned paper thin walls and they were not wrong. Every night we could hear our neighbours talking and during the night too. Also loud guests talking late outside our room was not considerate but that is not the hotels fault just selfish other guests. We would stay here again as it is a good base for a trip to Barcelona.

Very good location , close to train station and metro but metro line was out of service. Not much traffic, nice neighbourhood, good for an evening walk, playgrounds for children. Rooms and bathrooms were clean Furniture was kind of shabby The walls between rooms are very thin, therefore you can here every talk and sound coming from the adjacent rooms. Breakfast was perfect with good choice Lot of noise coming from the street even with closed windows and late at night
