We stayed here to spend two nights while looking at some of the Peninsular War sites nearby. This is a very nice, clean and comfortable small hotel with helpful service and a very good Continental Breakfast. Underground parking is also available but we thought that it was rather expensive, compared to the price of the hotel. The position of the hotel is convenient for the modern part of the town and about ten minutes walk from the old walled city. The room was clean, well fitted and comfortable. There is a restaurant of the same name just around the corner, on the main street and this was good.

“Lovely small hotel just outside the old town”

This is a lovely small hotel just outside of the old town situated in a quiet side street within walking distance of the town. Very clean and comfortable well serviced rooms. The continental breakfast was very varied and good.

Simple but clean hotel outside the walls of the town. Difficult on street parking but parking underground was also possible at a fee. Neutral receptionist could have been friendlier! Simple but clean hotel outside the walls of the town. Difficult on street parking but parking underground was also possible at a fee. Neutral receptionist could have been friendlier! Simple en suite room but elevator present. Breakfast too was very simple indeed. Restaurant not in hotel but in different building around the block was closed when we tried to get in. So, we visited crowded neighborhood Tapas bar "El Sevilla" in the same street instead which was a great find. Beautiful "Platos combinados" for 7 euros and low priced drinks.

“Missed out on sleep.”

We wanted to move out after the first night but after translating a note in to Spanish, we were given another room which was a great improvement. We wanted to move out after the first night but after translating a note in to Spanish, we were given another room which was a great improvement. The walls were thick enough but sound travelled through the air vents so we heard every little sound from next door, especially the snoring. Parking was expensive and down a very steep incline. The scrapes along the walls didn't do much to boost confidence in getting our vehicle out again. Breakfast was quite good although didn't begin until 8:30 am. Lighting in the room was not very good.
