Excellent. Albeit a bit pricey, we went during Easter which I believe is one of the peak weeks of the season so perhaps that is why the hefty bill. Excellent. Albeit a bit pricey, we went during Easter which I believe is one of the peak weeks of the season so perhaps that is why the hefty bill. Putting that aside, the hotel has all you would want in the area, great venues, beautiful lounge areas, great location, very well appointed rooms and social areas; very good breakfast and impressive service level. It is truly a 5 star hotel. I would recommend it highly and would be delighted to come back

“Mountain heaven”
This is, without the shadow of a doubt, the best hotel in Baqueira and one of the best ski hotels I have ever been to. This is, without the shadow of a doubt, the best hotel in Baqueira and one of the best ski hotels I have ever been to. Everything from the location next to the ski gondola (2 minute walk, literally) to the quality of service makes it well deserve 5 stars. They were very helpful with us in all of our bookings (ski material, ski school for our son, restaurant bookings, booking of a dog sled experience), making the whole experience simply flawless. What makes this place remarkable is the quality of its restaurants. Forget about “mountain grub” you normally get in the Alps and come here to enjoy some real cuisine in its 4 restaurants. Honestly, we have rarely eaten so well anywhere. Their attention to children is also remarkable, which makes this the best place to come with little ones. Cannot fault Val de Neu. This was our third time with them, and we will be back next year.

Staff were friendly and helpful, hotel immaculate, food delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed as always the cosy bar with a fire at the end of long day in the mountains. The breakfast is possibly the best hotel breakfast we have ever experienced - perfect for a day on the slopes. The hotel make the ski day so easy with everything stored at the bottom of the gondola with helpful staff assisting you with your skis and lockers. We have stayed in many resorts but Baqueira remains our favourite. We will be back again next year. Thank you Hotel Val De Neu.

The negatives were, the Wifi was not great in our room, the room was a little too warm- with no adjustment available on the thermostat. Also €22 parking for a night should be included in a hotel of this calibre. But overall for this location it is by far the best place to stay.
