“Great getaway ”

Enjoyed with the family a one night stay. The spa is excellent and the food pretty reasonable. It is an excellent getaway from the populated areas in the coast and has lots to hiking trails. Totally recommended

Overview: we are a couple doing a walking holiday of the area, only one night in most of the accommodation, unfortunately. Arrival: very pleasant, an appealing and very traditional Spanish feel to the house. Room: very nice, even though it was one of the smallest rooms it was still large with a great bathroom. Loads of hot water and a big bed. Shutters kept any light out, absolutely no noise. Outside areas: we did not make use of the spa area which looked good, plenty of comfy chairs and places to lounge. Outside areas would be great in warmer weather. Area: great walking and some lovely bars and restaurants. Food: breakfast was ok, lots of breads and some pastries, ham but no cheese (we are vegetarian), nice jams and the traditional grated tomatoes with toast. Would stay again but would book massage and spa in advance.

“quirky, cool, romantic little hotel in a lovely area”

we stayed here with a couple of friends and really liked the place. The hotel is set in the walls of the small village and is very well looked after and cared for. There is a well/baths/spa for relaxing which we made great use of, a lovely interior patio for some nice wine and the area is truly nic… more

we stayed here with a couple of friends and really liked the place. The hotel is set in the walls of the small village and is very well looked after and cared for. There is a well/baths/spa for relaxing which we made great use of, a lovely interior patio for some nice wine and the area is truly nice for drives and walks. As others have said its quite quirky but in a rather sweet way and we enjoyed our stay very much. The village has one or two bars for evening snacks/suppers and in the heat of the summer the coolness of the hotel was a pleasant relief.

Lovely old building, impeccably furnished, beautiful paintings, spotlessly clean, exquisite bedroom with spacious ensuite bathroom and "L'Occitane" toiletries - Lush! Our hostess Silica was a little reserved to start with but we soon had her smiling and she looked after us so well - even treated us to a half bottle of cava while we were in the Spa! Thank you! All in all a very chilled, pampered romantic weekend - highly recommended :-) (This gets our 4 star rating overall because the price was a little steep for such a small hotel with limited facilities - no mini fridge in room - which would have been a nice touch - but service et al was 5 star)
