“Wonderful Respite on the Camino Inglés”
What a wonderful retreat in Betanzos. The rooms were scrupulously clean, the hotel personnel were professional, kind and patient. They were very accommodating to our group of ten peregrinos on the Camino Inglés and had great recommendations for dinners! Thank you Paula and Laura.

“Don't stay at Hotel Villa de Betanzos if you want to get a good night's sleep”
I walked about 12 miles on the Camino de Santiago and arrived at the Hotel Villa de Betanzos. I was greatly disappointed. The reception was wonderful, but the room is a DUMP. The photos don't show what the room truly looks like. I might have slept 1/2 an hour because of the horribly uncomfortab… more

“A very strange mixture”
I appreciated the free underground parking: one of the reasons for choosing the hotel for an overnight stay. The carpark itself looks semi derelict, connecting to the hotel with a passge that smells of damp. The lift takes you to reception which is bright and looks cared for. The two people on rece… more
