I can't fault anything about this small hotel. Our room was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was tasty and having free access to a Nespresso machine in the lobby was much appreciated. The rooms have a reasonably priced minibar, and excellent natural wine is available for purchase from the lobby. Both of these were charged on an honesty basis (tell the staff when you check out what you had), which I really liked. It made us feel like trusted guests rather than just another number like large hotel chains can sometimes do. The location right next to the Arc de Triomf is very convenient, with many bars, restaurants, and shops in easy walking distance (including a great one literally next door to the hotel!). There is also a nearby metro station for trips further afield. The absolute best thing about this hotel though has to be the staff. They couldn't do enough for us, and we're extremely friendly and accommodating during our stay, even keeping the reception open late so we could check in after our evening flight. Overall I would definitely recommend We Boutique Hotel. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and the price for our room was more than reasonable. When we return to Barcelona we will definitely be coming back here.

Walking to La Sagrada Familia and Palau de la Música Catalana was convenient. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Location,location, location. That is the best feature of this small hotel and if you prefers inns with small numbers, as we do, this fits the bill. However, when we checked in I asked about drinking the water from the tap and was advised not to do so.. Every hotel around the world with a similar price provides you with free water in containers if this is the case. I was quite perturbed when going into our room I couldn't brush my teeth unless I bought a bottle of water. I did tell desk person about this and she promptly gave me a bottle but I don't think this should be a ask for. I also agree with the hotel needing some major upgrades. We chose a room with a balcony. This puts you overlooking a busy street. First, the balcony is so tiny yet is outfitted with a tiny table and two chairs, that unless you are built like a small child you can not use nor stand on. The windows, although perhaps not original, are quite old and not a bit sound proof so we listened all night long to the street traffic, garbage trucks, loud pedestrians. This was room number 2 so I would be sure not to take it. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and they were very accommodating. Staff were pleasant as well.
