“My first trip to Barcelona”

It took me a very long time to choose a hotel, but the choice was made in favour of this hotel. Great place, great service, pleasant staff. Worth every cent spent! A place I'll come back to for sure.

The reception team were great (Alexander), the location is central to everything, the décor is excellent, the rooms are all kept clean and tidy! All in all, an excellent hotel to stay in for a break in Barcelona.

The location is good and central to everything especially if this is your first trip to Barcelona. It's on a side street so the noise is not as bad -- I stayed on the first floor. The room was comfortable size and had good air conditioning which was my primary concern since I went in July. I also liked that my room faced the street and had a little balcony I can walk out to. You don't see much and you are facing two other hotels across the street but that didn't bother me. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially the young man at breakfast. He would come and chit chat with you. Alexander who works quite a bit of night shift is also very helpful and friendly as he checked me in past night of the day of my arrival. I stayed during the tourist protest so having friendly staff at the hotel was a big positive to ensure that I can be safe at my own hotel. Breakfast was included with my stay and it had a good selection of cold cuts and cheese, bakery items, cereal, some hot items, and salad/fruit bar. There were plenty of juices to choose from and coffee machines. There weren't a lot of changes from day to day, which I wish they did. They also cook eggs on demand -- omelette, scrambled, or poached -- and pancakes. This is good so you get them fresh rather than sitting under a heat lamp. The staff must have learned that it's difficult to verbally repeat or have to inform guests that they made dishes on demand. By day three, all the tables had signs indicating the on demand dishes. This was a smart move! The hotel can improve on the shower. The shower leaks water out because the sliding doors don't block in all the water. I think this is a wear and tear thing. It doesn't disrupt your shower and doesn't flood the bathroom or anything tho. The hotel shower, shampoo, and conditioner uses Molton brown bottles but I'm slightly skeptical if they are refilled with Molton Brown products because the conditioner didn't do anything to my hair to condition it!

“Nice Boutique Hotel in Barcelona”

Nice boutique hotel in the middle of many restaurants, bars and activities. Mandeep and Luis were excellent servers during the morning breakfast and showed genuine interest in the guests. Rooms were comfortable. Thank you for a great visit.
