“Perfect location & awesome breakfast.”

Great hotel, perfectly located. Tons of restaurants nearby but best food encountered was the hotel's own breakfast. Breakfast restaurant manager was a great host. Hotel very handy for Barcelona Sants railway station. Easy walk then hop on to anywhere. Recommend Girona & Monserrat.

Lovely hotel near the metro, very clean and modern, did a lovely breakfast with fruit, bread, meat etc including gluten and dairy free, staff gave good tips on restaurants etc, the pool was tiny and cold, but fine for a cool down after a busy day.

We absolutely loved our stay with the Catalonia Roma Hotel. All the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful with any queries or questions especially Javier in Reception but all of them are very friendly and helpful! Some of the paint in the bathroom could do with a little refresh but we did not mind this at all! The Catalonia Roma was perfect for what we needed it for for our 3 night stay in Barcelona and is only a 2-5 minute walk to the Sants train station. We for one were glad to have chosen this hotel as it is in a slightly quiter part of Barcelona but everything is still easily accessible and within walking distance! Where this hotel really shines is definitely the Staff! All of them are an asset to this Hotel. As mentioned Javier and the other staff at reception, the lady (I’m sorry I forgot her name) at breakfast and Antonia, although we have not met her, her standards of cleaning our rooms are exceptional! We are already talking about planning our next trip to Barcelona once Camp Nou stadium is finished to hopefully catch a match and we will definitely be booking again to stay at the Catalonia Roma. The hotel manager was also very friendly and funny and chatted to us about football (our main reason of coming to Barcelona as Son is a huge Barcá fan and camp Nou is only a 30 minute walk away) but Barcelona has soo much more to offer and to explore and this hotel was our perfect Base whilst staying here in Barcelona! “Doable hotel 10 min walk from Sant Station & metro”

If you’re planning side trips departing from the Santa Station, I’d recommend staying here as hotel will store your luggage while you’re away for a few days. If you’re planning side trips departing from the Santa Station, I’d recommend staying here as hotel will store your luggage while you’re away for a few days. NOT a prime location unlike Catalonia portal Angel situated in the heart of town. Hotel’s small, sandwiched between residential buildings. 10 min walk from metro & huge mall. Reception staff are alright. Room cleaning was alright except dirty & stained bed sheets(see picture).
