“Rural hospitality at its best”

We have stayed in La Balsa for three nights. The hospitality and atmosphere were second to none. The hotel gives really value for money. Our room was decently sized, the bathroom had all the amenities we needed and the breakfast was the best we had up to now in our Spanish trip. Cold cuts like ham, sausage and cheese were provided upon demand and at no extra cost. The only thing that could upset you a bit, is that the hotel is situated right at the road between Cangas and Covadonga. But at the critical hours, let’s say between 23.00 and 07.00 there was hardly any traffic. We slept as roses. Absolutely great value for money and very recommendable.

“Great Hospitality”
I echo everything positive that has already been said. Spotlessly clean. Really comfortable. Charming decor. Helpful and friendly hosts. Oh and a great breakfast included. We used this place as a bass to explore the National Park and could not have been more pleased.

“Best service and breakfast”
Emilio, the owner, is an awesome person. Best hospitality service you can possibly imagine. And their breakfast is just unbelievable: home made cakes, and eggs any style, prepared on the spot. Also, the rooms are really cozy and warm (in winter), with an (almost) king sized bed.

“Lovely location, helpful Hotelier”
This was a lovely place to stay, a little out of town, but parking outside the hotel or just up the road. We were given some nice routes for our motorcycles by the hotelier, and he cooked us a nice breakfast each morning. The rooms were nice and comfortable. Value for money.
