From arriving in a taxi, we were greeted at the door and our luggage taken. Before being met by a reception who immediately took us to the level. We were early for check in, but no worries our room was ready and the exceptional staff on the level offered us drinks and snacks. Our room was a junior suite with sea view and walked straight out onto the terrace for the infinity pool. The only downside being it never got the winter sun. Each night we received water and a chocolate, and the offer of fresh towels. The level lounge was nice, good breakfast in both the main restaurant or the level. Only 1 hour a day of spirits which did seem not enough as no one was seen having more than two drinks at most. The snack and tapas throughout the day offered were good, but the staff were fantastic nothing was so much trouble. We ate in the main restaurant on half board, nothing wrong with the food but the portions were massive and you got bored of the menu. No buffet on offer during winter. The big question, would I stay here again, of course however we like winter sun and unfortunately this hotel although it has fantastic views we struggled to find sunny places to sit.

“We only book no pet hotels.”

Excellent service. No pets. Thats why we book this hotel. Lovely room. Good food but could do more vegetarian options. Writing on menus very small. Difficult to read. The Level really good but a long walk to check in with our bags. However overall an excellent hotel.

I booked to go with my two children for seven nights over the Christmas period as it was the first Christmas since their dad died. We had a lovely big room overlooking the marina. Each day at 12pm ‘Last Christmas’ would blast from the ice rink (not real but a tile) opposite. The room was well equipped, good size wardrobe but lacked enough hangers, nice toiletries. I had to ask for bath robes and slippers. The bar staff were very slow so you could be waiting over 10 minutes for someone to come to take your order. Decent back bar and not overpriced for a hotel. The breakfast was the best selection I’ve ever seen in a Four star hotel: fresh fruit, meats, pastries, waffles, pancakes, eggs all cooked to order, breads, cereal and juices. I didn’t book with the room as the children aren’t usually up so it was very expensive to add to the bill. I was charged 2 different prices and when I queried it upon check ‘this is your signature’ was the response. Apparently one day my 12 old twins were charged as children the next adults. The bill wasn’t rectified. Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas lunch (paid separately £380) were delicious. The unexpected cockroach 🪳 walking across my daughter’s side of our table was taken away and ‘a new napkin’ will be bought over. We also had two in our bathroom on separate days. Upon check I asked to speak with the manager regarding this as I shocked for these to be in a four star hotel. I was told a company had already been in day before to treat the hotel. The manager was unaware of the cockroach's in our room despite me informing at reception. I was disappointed that given the staff were aware of the bugs nobody became to speak with me. No refund of the Christmas meal was offered, ‘I can offer you a free coffee and pastries for the children’ after I had paid my room charges bill. I would like to book for next Christmas but given this experience I am unsure. It was a lovely relaxing time away but the cockroach situation was not handled well from a customer point of view.
