“Excellent budget hotel”
I stayed here for 8 nights while I was doing a Spanish course. San Remo was an excellent choice for me because it is right in the heart of the city close to all the main points of interest and a multitude of restaurants and tapas bars, cafes etc. I liked my room which had a balcony and large bathr… more
I stayed here for 8 nights while I was doing a Spanish course. San Remo was an excellent choice for me because it is right in the heart of the city close to all the main points of interest and a multitude of restaurants and tapas bars, cafes etc. I liked my room which had a balcony and large bathroom. It was on the 6th floor - lift does take a while to arrive sometimes but if you're feeling athletic you can go up the 6 flights of stairs! Breakfast is not included here but that is no problem in a place like Alicante as there are so many cafes offering it for about 3.50 Euros. Staff were all very nice and helpful.

Hotel has great central location, close to everything. Our room was big, with a balcony on sunny side. We had great night sleep thanks to super comfy matrasses.Our room was cleaned every day, which is great when you are travelling with children.Accomodation staff and receptionists were always friendly and helpful. They pre-booked a taxi for us for our early flight, which was excellent and we were in airport on time.

“Not for large people...”
I don't think that I've ever stayed in a smaller hotel room. It was tiny, tiny, tiny. And there were no frills in the room. Could not get the TV remote to work, but that may be my own lack of technical prowess. But, the price was right. It was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. Also a g… more

The room while small had everything I needed for a business trip. Modern TV, good air con / heater, comfy bed and piping hot water for the shower. It’s a great location in many respects, close to bars and excellent restaurants and all other facilities you would need, the bad points about the location is it’s close to bars, restaurants and all the other facilities you would need. Yes you did just read that twice. Because of its location it can get a bit noisy at night especially the weekend, singing and shouting can be heard into the early hours and bars empty their bottles into the recycling and that makes a hell of a clatter. However you get use to it which is why I will return.

The location is the key here, the hotel is in the middle of the centre. We enjoyed a big room with big bathroom and a private balcony with nice views. The bathroom is clean, and the towels are provided. The room is very basic and old-fashioned and the curtains had mold all over them, otherwise ok for few nights. A lot of noise from the outside, because it was the weekend and also the annual carnival time, but that is not the hotels fault of course :) Free wifi, cheap but good coffee from the reception and shops and restaurants close. Nice staff! Ok stay, thanks. :)
