“Lovely stay for our honeymoon, highly recommend!”
We had our honeymoon at the hotel, and the staff were really welcoming! Gave us a welcome champagne, and snacks the next day. We had our honeymoon at the hotel, and the staff were really welcoming! Gave us a welcome champagne, and snacks the next day. We loved the daily minibar refills the most, there's a can of rice wine and beer that's refilled daily, along with coke, fizzy water and orange juice which we enjoyed thoroughly. The room was cleaned daily, and we noticed that they do actually change the sheets which is great. The front desk was very helpful to our requests as well. A close friend residing in Korea also told us that this is the trendiest and best hotel to go to right now, which we agree too. I've personally been to Seoul more than 10x times, and this was the best hotel I've ever stayed. Very enjoyable stay we had, we definitely will be back.

Stayed here in Sep 2024 with friends. The hotel is centrally located in Gangnam…and may be the best location for plastic surgery/medical tourism visits, given the bevy of clinics nearby. The lobby may be underwhelming but the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I received an early checkin for a small fee. My room was what I expected. I had a base category Single. It’s cozy but very well appointed. The room has a modern feel with old and metal accents. Everything had been thought out and was practical. My friend stayed in a higher category Deluxe room, that was similar in interior design but larger, and may be more comfortable for a couple. The hotel has a paid self-laundry, which was useful…and I saw many guests using it. Also each floor had a pantry area for some basic cooking. Both are great ideas. WiFi worked well. I did not use the restaurant, as the breakfast was on the expensive side. Housekeeping staff were very thorough and I always came back to a clean room. The location is not the best for a tourist itinerary (palaces, markets, DMZ, Seoul Tower), but it works if you have work or friends based in Gangnam. I highly recommend staying here.

I stayed at Voco Seoul Gangnam for 1 night during this 1 week trip, amongst other hotel chains under other groups (Marriott, banyan tree, Swissôtel). Of all the hotels I experienced, Voco Seoul had the best service of all. The staff greeted you warmly, came earnestly offering to wheel your luggage (which was experienced when I checked in and out) and offered you bottles of cold water amongst other small gestures. They were genuinely warm in their reception and not simply going through the motions. Would highly recommend if service is something important for you in booking your hotel stay.

I went to Seoul for Korea Blockchain Week, a week which also had some other events running, so most hotels were 100% booked. Availability for voco Gangnam popped up about a week before the event so I was able to stay here (much better location than I'd previously booked as a backup), but I didn't have much experience with the voco brand, so didn't have any particular expectations. Turns out, voco is basically ideal for business/solo travel: comfortable room, fast internet (400Mbps!), great food (breakfast and room service), some good meeting areas, and my favorite part: self-service laundry with really nice machines. They were so kind as to let me use the machines after my check-out time, and now I have clean clothes for my next week in South Africa. I don't think I'd come to Seoul just to stay in this hotel, but I definitely will stay here when I come to Seoul again.

This was my second stay in voco Seoul Myeongdong. Check in was again very smooth, we received a twin room with view on the N Seoul Tower. The only problem was that the airco was not working at this time of the year and it was 27 °C in the room! They gave us a fan and asked us to open window. During this stay we had time for breakfast and the breakfast is just great! Everything you need to start your day!
