“Balm for a tired soul”
Checked in yesterday evening feeling stressed and tired after a long flight from London. Checked in yesterday evening feeling stressed and tired after a long flight from London. Felt instantly revived to find the Swiss Grand Hotel was large, slightly glitzy but welcoming and the staff extremely courteous and helpful. Pleased this will be my base for a week while I attend a weeklong conference in Seoul. My thanks to the conference organisers for selecting this hotel.

“we had a great time”
the hotel was clean and comfortable. we cam in late at night and only had one night there. our child wanted to sleep in late but we were able to keep entertained and fed in the lobby while we split up. the taxi ride was easy and overall i like this place and would stay if i was in Korea for a short… more
the hotel was clean and comfortable. we cam in late at night and only had one night there. our child wanted to sleep in late but we were able to keep entertained and fed in the lobby while we split up. the taxi ride was easy and overall i like this place and would stay if i was in Korea for a short or long visit - this time was 23 hours - just the max time ot have a layover but no charge!

The photos can be a little deceptive. The hotel itself really isn’t bad. For the price, it’s also okay. During our stay we noticed the interior A/C didn’t appear to be working. So, we told the concierge and they accommodated us to move us to a different room. It was still pretty hot so they brung us a fan in our room. Little things about this hotel make it average. Some mentioned usb ports not working, this is true also. It also is about 10 minutes from Hongdae by car. Overall, this hotel is good for someone trying to save a little money on their trip, but it’s not the most luxurious place that me and my wife have been too. It’s very outdated, but still very beautiful interior space. I’m pleased with the service for what you pay. Also, free parking in the garage is nice as well as the overall look and atmosphere of the hotel is nice. So, it’s nice but it’s no LOTTE World of course. If LOTTE is a 5 star hotel, this is a 3 star hotel. I just really want to make it clear that this is still a good hotel. It just might not be for everyone.

Perfect hotel for business conferences . It’s rather large (indeed a grand hotel) and spacious which is not what you will find in Seoul! The location is a bit far from the city and with limited options for food. The room was clean, and the bed and linen were comfortable. They don’t have USB or universal power points so you will need a travel adaptor if staying here. Breakfast was lovely and the gym is very well equipped. Staff were very friendly. You can see the hotel is a bit dated but has held onto its grand style .
