“Great location, great hotel”
We stayed at the hotel for six nights. The room, though small, was spotless, the bed was very comfortable and the location is terrific. We stayed at the hotel for six nights. The room, though small, was spotless, the bed was very comfortable and the location is terrific. It’s quiet and an easy walk to two major temples, shops and the Bukchon Hanok Village. There’s a good sized supermarket around the corner and it’s a five minute walk to a Paris Baguette. We used both to stock the refrigerator with breakfast treats. The hotel management is very friendly and helpful and the laundry in the basement (two washers/two dryers) is an added bonus. Highly recommend!

Most notable feature is the huge room you can get for the same price as a smaller one elsewhere. Most notable feature is the huge room you can get for the same price as a smaller one elsewhere. The beds are very good, large good bathroom, location is fine once you have explored a little (but maybe take a cab on arrival). Insadong is right there, two subways close, several food streets. Front desk helpful. Cafe is OK but we elected to get breakfast out, for which there are several options. And taxis are cheap.

“Quiet and convenient location with on-site laundry”
Stayed total of 10 nights split into 2 visits. Both times in Korean family room for 4 on floor 8 or 7, which featured 1 queen bed + floor bedding. Stayed total of 10 nights split into 2 visits. Both times in Korean family room for 4 on floor 8 or 7, which featured 1 queen bed + floor bedding. Rooms 805 and 705 face towards a building so there was really no view. Lots of positives Convenient location - within walking distance of 3 subway stations (Jongno 3(sam)-ga Line 1, Anguk Line 3, Euljiro 1(il)-ga Line 2). - Airport bus 6002 to Jongo-2ga YMCA or 6011 to Anguk Station - steps from Insadong area and Ssamziegil, easy walk to Gyeongbokgung Palace. Supermarket nearby and lots of convenience stores, restaurants. Front desk was able to store luggage for several days while we went to other cities and also stored it on check-out day. Featured standard amenities for most Korean hotels (toothbrush, slippers, bottled water, free WiFi) and had functional in-room A/C. Nice feature that there is onsite laundry Drawbacks - No shower curtain (standard practice in Korea) and shower was situated inside the tub. Very difficult to climb in/out and the tile floor gets very slippery, so it’s dangerous getting in/out and rife for an accident. I imagine in winter, it must also be cold. - Cleaning was not that detailed, especially near the futon/floor bedding. Often hair wasn’t fully vacuumed up. - Only 1 elevator was functioning during our stay so that was somewhat inconvenient - The pillows were too lofty for my preference. Overall, I would recommend for convenience of location and laundry, quiet hotel and reasonable comfort.
