Mayfield Hotel in Magok, Seoul, is a solid choice for business travelers. It’s conveniently close to Gimpo International Airport, yet quiet with no noticeable airplane noise. The hotel features a traditional Korean restaurant, offering an authentic dining experience. The rooms are comfortable, but one drawback is that the TVs are not smart TVs, meaning Netflix and YouTube are not supported. Overall, it’s a practical and well-located hotel for business trips.

Within the standard type, some have a bath tub alongside the shower booth while others have only the shower booth. We liked the room without the bath. Two 500ml water bottles and coffee/tea bags are provided which we very much enjoyed. Two things that weren't best include 1) the smell of pesticide spray was a bit too strong 2) the noise travels easily in case you stay with loud neighbors. Otherwise, we really liked our status and would come back here again

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality, and the luxurious ambiance made me feel as though I had entered a serene retreat within the bustling city. The hotel’s location is ideal, close to Seoul’s city center, allowing easy access to major attractions, yet nestled in a quiet area where you can enjoy nature and peaceful surroundings. The beautifully maintained garden and nearby park provided a perfect setting for relaxation, offering a rare sense of tranquility in the middle of the city.

“Nice landscape”
Nice view and landscaping. Satisfying breakfast and staffs. One thing we didn't like was the bed. We could not sleep well because of the bed. Matress was not that good, we guess. Nice view and landscaping. Satisfying breakfast and staffs. One thing we didn't like was the bed. We could not sleep well because of the bed. Matress was not that good, we guess. Oh, we had a chance to visit wedding venues while they were being prepared. Looked so nice. Another thing. We stayed in Suite building and we had to go to the main building to have breakfast which was not really convinient.

“Generally I found it cool”
The check-in process is very smooth, and the facilities are impressive. The car park is convenient, allowing us to park right in front of the main building. The lounge in the lobby was a bit more tiny than I expected but they have a lot of drinks menu.
