“Great Stay”
Just returned from a 2 week stay and couldn’t have been happier. As this was my second visit to Seoul I didn’t want to stay in the obvious areas again (last visit Insa-dong and Hongdae). Just returned from a 2 week stay and couldn’t have been happier. As this was my second visit to Seoul I didn’t want to stay in the obvious areas again (last visit Insa-dong and Hongdae). Gongdeok checked all the right boxes for us with the accessible subway lines. The Lotte Hotel was perfect. Staff were always helpful & friendly. The room was large, beds were very comfortable & the bathroom spacious. City view a plus. Having the 7 Eleven in the lobby and the Lotte Supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants and subway an elevator ride away was beyond convenient. Lots of restaurants stores pubs and a traditional market within walking distance was great. We will definitely being staying here again on our next trip - nothing bad to say.

“Good to stay”
Stayed for 2 days on a business trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient. it is connected to the Arex train. many places to go nearby. good to stay

“I will advise booking this hotel I tried myself to find what is around the location as nobody from the staff were able.”
Hi, thanks god in this hotel I saw some foreign visitors and I was ablt to ask questions if I need it as the staff some do speak English some don't. I love the coffee place where every morning you can find fresh bakery or tasty sandwiches for lunch.

“It's Really Convenient”
The front desk staff are so friendly. Rooms are larger than other hotels. The subway and restaurants are so convenient because they are close by. Laundry room and convenience store are really good because they are open 24 hours a day. I would like to visit again when I come to Korea!!

I stayed for 7 nights in October 2023 and returned to stay 8 nights in June 2024 with my daughter and my sister and nice who booked a separate room. I am Korean living in the states and typically stay in the brand name international chain hotels when visiting Seoul and I was not sure what to expect from Lotte City Hotel Mapo which is considered "Business Hotel." This hotel gave me the feeling of the local living with access to everything so close to the hotel... sauna, good foods, metro, walk path without the frenzy of city. My daughter loved the location and she is going back in September. Don't expect 5 start amenities because it's not. But, it's a perfect location for those who wants to experience the local vibe away from Gang Nam, Myung Dong, Jong Ro and other tourist areas. The rooms may need some updates but it's a good value for the money.
