This is our first trip to Seoul and South Korea. We decided to get a taste of JW as well. The reservation via e mail were done efficiently. We requested a set of connecting rooms but surprisingly was not guaranteed initially despite booking early. However this was settled before our arrival and the connecting rooms were allocated. We find the pre arrival communication initiated by the hotel excellent. It is a really nice touch never encountered by us before. We took the airport bus to the hotel and back to the airport as well. Really convenient and comfortable. Also perhaps the fastest way due to dedicated bus lanes. From hotel to the airport tickets can be bought on the bus itself. As for in city travel the hotel is located close to a few subway lines making it very convenient. The staff provide very good service with high efficiency. Breakfast were good even though the spread does not vary much from day to day. Moving on to the rooms. They were in good shape and relatively spacious. The wooden floor on the shower cubicle were great with a fantastic scent. However the rooms do not come across as luxurious to us for the price we paid. Nothing bad but just not the level of luxury expected for the price. For us the hotel just managed to attain five star rating thanks to its pre arrival communications and great service provided by the staff. The relatively high price for its rooms level reduced it's value which nearly made me assigned it a four star rating.

It was amazing and Mr. Lim gave us fantastic advice on what and how to eat the dishes. We had the best time and I enjoyed myself so much! It was my last day in Korea before going back to school in America and my last day in Korea was so much better because Mr. Lim was an amazing manger for me and my parents today. Would definitely come again!!

“Seoul for the holidays”

Very easy check in and great room! The hotel is located near the Gangnam area of Seoul with easy access to the subway for travel anywhere in the city. There are lots of good restaurants connected to the hotel is the weather is bad, but the hotel concierge’s also have many good recommendations.

We just finished a lovely vacation in Seoul and had stayed at the JW Marriott Seoul during our trip. We booked 2 rooms as we were a family of 5. They were well informed about my arrival and had everything ready from the get go. Hank in the lobby stood out in the check in process and made it a breeze ! Request for interconnecting room was well handled and was great since we were traveling with our kids. Rooms were spacious enough with good amenities. House keeping was on the spot and made sure the room was well attended to everyday by the time we came back from our day trips. We had access to the executive lounge which we visited a few times for breakfast, plenty of options and a live egg making station which you don't see in most executive lounges. The manager at the executive lounge, I couldn't catch her name was lovely with the kids through out and made sure they were given special attention.I used the gym a couple of times and must say it is big with good strength training machines and cardio equipment. Would suggest to carry your on water bottle to fill up at the gym. Would suggest having more international options being available in the room service menu. Having said that, hotel is connected a department store with plenty of food options out there. Was busy most of the time when we went since it was the holiday season but if you are ready to wait around a bit you can manage it. Over all, I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here if I were to go back to Seoul.
